Went to Parambikulam Tiger Reserve as a couple in Jan 2015. Because we were not from India we made our booking by an agent in Cochin (TSI). Booking was very easy, but was only possible one month in advance. Reaching the Tented Niche accomodation was not very easy. Had to pay several entrance fees and these were not listed on... More

Went to Parambikulam Tiger Reserve as a couple in March 2014. Booking was very easy - they took our booking over phone, just with 2 days notice. Also called back to check on the day confirming the same. We reached the Tented Niche accomodation at around 1:30 pm. Check in was a breeze - we simply reached and paid the... More

With one of my freinds note, i booked this tented niche - 6 tents out of 7 and travelled with our whole families (6) and 8 kids. I was amazed to see the real wild life experience, with wonderful property and excellent services from Kerala Govt Forest dept. The booking was little tough as we need to book over phone... More

I have stayed thrice oevr the past year at this place. Its very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and service oriented. They take care of anything you ask for, which is very helpful when travelling with young children. The activities were scheduled well and we really enjoyed the forest drive, especially the night ride on our way back... More

Just 7 tents in the middle of nowhere (or rather in the middle of a dense forest), fully equipped with european style toilets ... my wife & I had an interesting stay here for 3 days. This place is run by the forest department: If you need anything, you have to ask the forest officials which frankly felt very weird.... More
