We stayed one night before our flight home and found the hotel to be very welcoming, with very clean well-appointed rooms. The hotel has been refurbished and our room had the best bathroom of our stay in Croatia. We would have been happy to stay for a number of nights. The room also had a balcony with sea view. An... We had hired a car, and were put off by the madness in Trogir. So we were delighted when we discovered Villa Zarko, nestled on the coast in Kastel Luksic. The area is lovely, with a small swimming beach. The coastal settlement is very historic and there are many lovely old buildings. You are only ten minutes away from Trogir by... More

It’s hard to pin a review on this place by using a star system because what it lacks in some areas it more than makes up for it in other areas. Either way it will be better than expected with the combination of feeling that you are rediscovering an area that once was and is trying to be again and... More

This is the place to stay if in Split. Away from the city, at the opposite side of the bay in a quiet little village and close to public transport. Parking at the premises is free and so is the internet. The food is excellent and you are asked what you would like for breakfast. The staff is doing their... More

This part of the Kastel area is very tranquil and a good place to get away from the crowds since there is very little to see and do if you do not have a car. Fortunately, this hotel is a great place to relax. If you want a full sea view, rooms 203-205 are in front. Our room, 202, had... More

this hotel was great for what it was. A stopping off point. Nice outlook on the Aegean. No car traffic. Rooms sufficient. Staff friendly and very helpful. Restaurant very good. A good place to stay and would come back again.

We stayed twice, end of September and 1st of October. The people are over the top helpful and friendly. For one of the nights we rented the entire 16 rooms for 37 people going on a 7 day bareboat charter on 8 Salona yachts. The night included dinner and drinks. I just can't say enough of the hospitality, service and... More

A very nice if a bit of a strange place. The 1st floor walls were pink and the 2nd floor blue. A very nice room with a balcony with a "partial" sea view (but we also had mountain views, which we really liked - I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with sea and mountain views!). No artwork on the walls... More

Spent 2 nights here. Rooms are OK, but hot water was not very hot, and the rooms are sparsely furnished (only one picture on the spacious walls) and a bit dark and out-dated (we were on the "blue" floor -- another floor is "pink" -- not sure what that is all about). A/C was not particularly strong and the room... More

Stayed in Kastel Luksic with a friend and stumbled upon Villa Zarko one evening whilst walking down the coast. The food and drink were of an excellent standard, the steak in particular was absolutely top notch. Our waiter Hrvoje was also very couteous and helpful, we stayed on for a decent drink sitting out in the open air part of... More
