Linda and Tim are excellent hosts and offer a range of home made treats from the kitchen. The accommodation is of a very high standard and functional. The garden is just coming to life and will be busting with colour in a few weeks time. The local area is well serviced with places of interest and eating places. Secure off road... More

We hope that next time you are in the area you will choose us and perhaps bring your wife so that she too can enjoy the area. The garden changes through the seasons so don't wait too long! More

We stayed for one night at the Horseshoe cottage farm b&b and we are sat wishing we could have stayed longer!!. Linda and Tim are the most accomodating hosts you could wish for, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel right at home. We had booked a meal at the Grey Lady and Linda herself dropped us... More

I know it was a special weekend for you both and we always try to make it that little bit extra special. You were so lucky with the weather which enabled you to have lovely walks in Bradgate Park and Swithland Woods and to top it all breakfast outside….the first of the year. Do come again! More

We were made very welcome by our hosts with pots of tea and freshly baked scones, which we took in the beautifully appointed dining/living area. Other guests squeezed up to allow us to watch the boat race. We found this delightful old farm property from Wolsey Lodges and luckily found space to accommodate us and our 2 children. Linda very... Home now, having spent 2 nights with Linda and Tim. It has been a lovely break, with great food, good company and in a beautiful setting. There is so much to do in the area, I shall be returning and staying here, it felt like staying with friends :) One thing to bear in mind, if you aren't comfortable around... More

We are so glad you enjoyed yourself and that you have now booked your parents in for a stay later in the year. The dogs are part of the household but we are well aware that they are not to everybody's liking and they will be shut away should visitors prefer not to come into contact with them. More

I've lived in the Leicester area previously and had to return there for a few weeks to work. I knew the area I wanted to stay in and the Horseshoe cottage did not disappoint. Perfectly located next to Bradgate park, the cottage is traditional and done out to a high standard. As soon as I walked through the door it... More

I was contracted to the area for 5 weeks and looked for somewhere quiet to stay, as I am a light sleeper. I found Horseshoe Cottage Farm within my commute area, and booked myself in. The hosts, Linda and Tim, were most welcoming. I was greeted with a cuppa, and Linda carried my bags to my room. They can also... More

Spent the weekend here with all the family for a wedding. The owners, Tim and Linda were fantastic, very accommodating, nothing was to much trouble and went out of their way for dietry requirements and assisting with last minute change of plans. Whole house and grounds were immaculate and would happily recommend this establishment. Thank you so much for being... More

It is always a pleasure to have a wedding here. All the excitement and anticipation of the day and the future ahead. I never write reviews. But due to outstanding welcome we received I feel it is most important. Linda is the most amazing lady, kind & genuine(Even gave us a lift to the resturant we booked into). This is not your standard B&B. This is Rolls Royal of B&B. The accommodation was outstanding followed by the location. The breakfast was all... More

Lovely bed and breakfast in a great location for my visit to Richard III exhibition. Very friendly hosts lit a log fire and supplied tea and homemade cake after a walk to see the deer just across from the BB.
