We had a perfect stay as a young couple at Fazenda Nosso Paraiso in January 2015. The guesthouse is lovely with a beautiful view from the upper terrace on the landscape and especially the mountain on the opposite site. Absolute highlight of our stay at Nosso paraiso were the two horseback riding trips we did. As an absolute beginner I... More

This is a long review but I have tried to be even-handed and simply state what happened, so that others can decide for themselves whether or not they want to stay there. I read the 'German Scammers' review and found it so offensive that I assumed this must be a lovely place, and that I would overlook some of the... More

Just read the bad review below and disagree completely. Don't let it put you off. We stayed there Oct 2013, and turned up late at midnight. Reinhard was waiting up for us and welcomed us in. The room was nice and you can hear cool jungle animal noises. Waking up feeling like you're surrounded by Brazilian wildlife and bird calls.... More

This is not a hotel, this is a prison experience (they literally lock you up on the compound) with a "it's the German way or the Highway" management style that kills your holiday spirit. They corrupted me into paying triple the regular prices that the other guests were paying (perhaps because they were not fully booked?? that should tell them... More

This client seemed to have a great time at our hotel. Leaving us with hugs and kisses, she promised us to pay the outstanding bill of 531,- Euros (our card machine did not work this day), we are waiting for the payment until today. She had to pay the same rates as everybody else for the new years package (4... More

This place is homely, friendly and extremely relaxed. The owners are knowledgable, accommodating and truly lovely. We arrived rather frazzled after the hustle and bustle of 5 days partying in Rio and were treated to the most delicious home cooked food, stunning scenery and exotic wildlife...the most perfect way to end our Brazilian adventure!

We stayed for one week with Reinhardt, Claudia, Jaro and Josie and we felt like part of the family! Everyone eats together around a communal table with the sounds of moneys, cicadas and toads providing the music. We enjoyed healthy home cooked meals and a delicious breakfast every morning with fresh juices and meats, cheeses and delicious homemade bread. The... More

We spend 3 days and 4 nights in this charming relaxed place with 4 people aged between 23 and 59. The home cooked meals were delicious, the hosts friendly and very helpful. We loved the animals living on and near the ranch like the ducks, horses, turtles, honeybirds and monkeys. The variety in guests you mingle with and the privacy you... More

This is a riding holiday that won't break the bank. Situated in a beautiful part of Rio cattle country, you can ride a lot or a little, cross ranches, circle lagoons and generally enjoy peace and quiet except for the guy blasting Forro music off the back of his pickup whom you might encounter riding between towns. I loved it.... More

This 10 room hotel is nestled amongst beautiful tropical flora and fauna. It's a perfect place to completely unwind and forget about everyday stresses- whether lazing in a hammock, swimming in the lovely large pool, horseriding, walking, or tucking into a delicious homecooked meal.

We have booked 14 days horseriding and sightseeing trip, which was very interesting with many differnt things to see. The food was very various and the hotelowners always asked about our needs. The hotel is placed in an area surrounded by palmtrees and many different exotic plants and animals-like monkeys, birds and insekts. Realy great.
