The hotel is close to the beach in the seaside part of town. The main city centre is some miles inland There are a lot of hotels and restaurants in this part of town. In front of the hotel is a busy road. The hotel has a safe parking with CCTV monitoring for € 4,- a day. (January 2014) My... More

We travelled from Florence to the coast and decided to extend our trip so looked on line for hotels in Livorno, Expedia came up with this. As it was late in the day we contacted the hotel directly and booked 2 nights, the receptionist was very helpful and said she could keep the room until 16.00. We realised quickly that... More

We had a wonderful time in this lovely little town. The hotel was perfect - right on the water. We were exhausted and happy to find such a cute little place. You did have to call the front desk to get the AC turned on, but the temp was okay in the room and we had a balcony. The restaurant... More

We got here very late, as our GPS couldn't actually find the address. We were put in the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed at. Two of the lights in the room were out, so the room was very dark. Also, the phone didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk. To turn on the a/c, you had to... More

During our Rome-Firenze-Cecina-Rome trip we picked Tornese as our hotel in Cecina, Tuscany. The breakfast is worse than at comparable hotels in Rome and Florence. The dinner is better, but the best are small local family restaurants on the second line of the streets in Marina di Cecina. A/c is adjusted only by calling the reception or opening windows/main door.... More

the room is 'adequate' for an overnight. but at 5;9" i barely fit in the bed and my husband had to hang off the bed, b.t.w. the beds were in two different rooms. it was like a small cabin on a cruise ship.

My nine year old sons and I have just spent the past two nights at Hotel Tornese, Marina di Cecina, Italy. Unless you want your visit to a perfectly charming, Tuscan coastline village ruined by your hotel stay, DO NOT BOOK INTO THIS HOTEL! When we arrived to check in, there were two ladies at the front desk, deeply engrossed... More

Good evening and thank you for the time spent for the review. How you can see we do not respond to reviews because every customers has the right to express his disappointment. I will be much "shorter" than you: A guest who booked a double room and comes in hotel with 3 children in high season I don't think that... More
