The Woolpack is well situated for Longleat and Bath in a lovely quiet village. The only let down we found were the water damaged ceiling, wallpaper peeling off behind the radiator, tie nail clippings stuck in the carpet and half and inch of dust under the bathroom radiator. A shame the cleaning lets down such a nice place.

We stayed here while in the area for a wedding. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and over all everything was very clean. The breakfast was very generous and tasty and we really enjoyed our stay

Whilst visiting the area we booked a night at this property. First impressions was great from the outside and downstairs looked inviting. We paid for a superior bedroom. We were given the key to room 12 and went upstairs to find what we would say is a tired family with wallpaper coming off, marks on the walls, the light switches... More

Thank you for taking the time to review, I am pleased that enjoyed your stay. If the car park does fill, there is plenty of parking around the village, which becomes very quiet after 9pm. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Craig, General Manager More

My partner and I stayed here on a Sunday evening after attending a Steampunk festival in Frome during the day. I had booked in advance and scoured the net for the cheapest option considering we would really only need it is a place to sleep. The Woolpack inn and Travelodge were my two candidates. I chose the Inn partly due... More
