My hubby & I stayed in New Moon for 4 nights thanks to a Red Balloon prize. There is nothing comparable in Qld and the 16 hr drive was so worth it. Brenda had everything in our cottage, the hampers, soft music, etc. Brenda and Alan left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility of their property but were as... More

We stayed in the Half Moon cottage and enjoyed every moment of it. We particularly loved the log fire experience, spa, complimentary morning yoga and breakfast. The homemade yogurt was the best! As we were having a girls weekend away the Tomah Botanical Gardens was exactly what we wanted to experience. A long walk in nature and upon our return... More

My partner and I desperately needed a weekend away and Brenda, the owner, was able to book us in very last minute due to a cancellation. We arrived to a very warm welcome from the owners and a beautiful, cosy cottage. We stayed in the New Moon cottage and were more than happy with it. Everything was thought of; cheese... More

This was our second time staying at Ghost Hill in the Crescent Moon Cottage and it was perfect. Again. Being greeted with a friendly welcome, beautiful and cosy cottage, gorgeous breakfast hamper, cheese crackers, grapes and a roaring fire was absolutely divine for my husband and I after several months of non stop. We have highly recommended a stay to... More

My sister and I spent a few days up in the Blue Mountains and booked this place at the last minute. We were so relieved and pleased with our "find". Brenda made us feel welcome even before we arrived by providing us with directions and all the info we needed. On arrival at the cottage we found the fire lit,... More

We stayed at this lovely house for our anniversary and it was great. Very relaxing and no sign of any bush fires. The Blue Mountains are as beautiful as ever. Enjoyed the massage and dinner at Apple Bar. Wished I'd brought walking shoes with me to explore the bush.

We recently stayed here for a weekend in the Half Moon Cottage. On a chilly and wet Friday night, we arrived to find the fireplace aglow and the main living area / bedroom warm and welcoming. Cinder the resident cat also found this to her liking and stayed with us overnight! Despite the weather, we managed to cook our dinner... More

We spent three nights in the 'New Moon Cottage'. We were looking for a luxurious bush retreat and were rewarded with an exceptional experience. The cottage was in a secluded position and although around 500 metres from the homestead we never saw or heard another person. Brenda had stocked the cottage with plentiful and delicious food (and firewood). We would... More

This is the most relaxing place for a weekend away in the blue mountains. Slow combustion fireplace, double spa overlooking the bush setting, most comfortable bed, delicious country breakfast hamper, champagne and cheese on arrival, candles are plentiful, pantry stocked with majority of goodies,.... we truly wanted for nothing! Brenda was amazing, the most fabulous down to earth host with... More

I only discovered Ghost Hill Road because I received a Red Balloon voucher from my work. I find Red Balloon a bit of a leap of faith sometimes but this leap was rewarded. We decided to spend two nights there to celebrate our anniversary. Right from the booking Brenda was friendly and informative. She booked in our massages and yoga... More
