The previous reviews drew us to Llainfran, and we were lucky enough to book a four day break. It was as described,a wonderful house deep in the countryside, with additional rural features such as a fish pond, chickens, goats etc. The room was superb with a breakfast menu to satisfy all tastes, the free range eggs were laid just 30 paces away! The hosts Mike... More

With a holiday already decided and planned, we were ready to book and pay on line. I thought I would have a quick last look around the area – just in case. Thankfully, we came across LLainfran House. Once we had read the reviews, and looked at the website and then read the breakfast menu – we were smitten –... More

Having read all of the excellent reviews for Llainfran we called in a couple of years back when passing & were shown round by a very welcoming Mike & Alison. We were impressed by the lovely setting, the handsome house, & the obviously very comfortable rooms. The only real surprise is that it's taken us 2 years to actually book... More

We have just returned from a business trip to Wales made perfect by staying at Llainfran. My husband was working in Aberystwyth but having already enjoyed staying at Llainfran we decided to mix business with pleasure. We had Bed and Breakfast but there is also available a beautiful Cottage over-looking the sea. The house stands in acres of its own... More

On the recommendation of friends just returned from our first time at Llainfran. What to say, that every B & B should aspire to be this good! Beautiful location, incredibly warm and friendly hosts in Mike and Alison, immaculate accommodation and of course Mike's 'Killer' breakfast. Though only a two night break I feel more rested and relaxed than a... More

Stayed for two nights Friday and Saturday, as booked a dolphin trip in New Quay. Had a lovely time Mike and Alison make you feel really welcome and bend over backwards to make your stay special. The journey took seven hours due to heavy traffic and we were greeted with a happy welcome by Mike and Alison and Sid the... More

We had a wonderful two days at Llainfran, where Mike and Alison were not only very welcoming but attentive to our needs, supplying useful advice on where to eat and how to get around by local bus. As we were walking, this was especially appreciated. The house was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fantastic! I really cannot recommend Llainfran... More
