Lovely modern home with a private entrance off the deck. We had a very nice breakfast in the am at a most convenient time as we were leaving relatively early for Gros Morne. Hosts were most helpful in booking us a reservation at a wonderful restaurant nearby. Only negative was the road in and I recommend using the 3rd exit... More

Although I am writing this review long after we stayed here, I can still remember everything about our stay, it was just that great! Beautiful house, great property right on the water, breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit down and have a beer with the owners Ron and Bev while relaxing in the evening. Very nice people... We stayed at River Tides last month while we travelled in Newfoundland. Ron and Bev, the hosts, gave us a warm welcome with tips about where to eat and what to see in the area. The suite of rooms you stay in is spacious, very comfortable and totally clean. The B & B is in a quiet, peaceful location so... More

As we drove slowly down the rough road to this accommodation we wondered a little about what we were going to (although the website did show a lovely looking house). We pulled off the road onto the driveway, got out of the car after a long drive and knew we had made the right decision to stay here. Peace. This... More

This lovely B&B provides a picturesque view of the riverside. The setting is peaceful and tranquil offering a 'special piece of Newfoundland'. Ron and Bev are wonderful hosts - both helpful and willing to share stories. They take pride in their home which is tastefully decorated. The surroundings are immaculate. This B&B is a treat!

Myself and a friend had recently stayed to break up a trip between St. John's and Gros Morne. Ron and Bev made the stay very pleasant. The room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and Ron and Bev were really pleasant to talk with. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay between the Gander and the Grand Falls-Windsor... My wife and I stayed at River Tides for 2 nights in mid-July. We chose this B&B because it was located off the highway, and hopefully quiet. We walked in with our take-out dinner, Ron and Bev invited us to eat with them, and we talked and laughed all night! These 2 lovely people instantly became friends! The Queen Bedroom... More

We just returned to Ontario from a trip to Newfoundland. We stayed in many B & B's and this one was by far the best!!! The owners, Bev and Ron, are so inviting, warm, welcoming and make you feel right at home! The home is located on a wonderful property overlooking the Exploits River. It's so peaceful. The room was... More

We stayed at River Tides for two nights around this years Exploits Valley Salmon Festival. This B and B may be the best kept secret in the province. Location on the banks of the Exploits River is simply beautiful. The grounds are well kept. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast? Delicious and made to order. And the hosts, Bev and Ron, are... More

Such lovely tasteful, comfortable rooms in a wonderful location with delightful hosts Bev and Ron - what more can we say? This is a great place to stop-over if you are doing the seemingly endless east/west journey across NFLD. But more than that: stop here as a base for day trips to Twillingate to see the icebergs. If you are... More
