BB 44 is a very good value all-around. Not just in cost, but in everything you get! The family that runs the B&B are very, very friendly and go out of their way to help you out and make sure that you are all set for your trip. They provide maps, book tours, give advice on where to eat or... More

The owners are friendly. The place was clean and they were very helpful with guiding me in ideas to do while on vacation. Food was great. Service was perfect. I would stay here again. I have photos of my trip here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/samuelfowler/sets/72157634009642546

Iceland has been recently ranked by the World Economic Forum as the best place in the world to visit due largely to the friendly and helpful nature of Icelanders. I am further suggesting that the BB44 guesthouses http://bb44.is/ are the best place to stay in Iceland. Having heard about them through a relative we were able to get a booking.... More

The owner are friendly and very helpful. The room is ok, simply but enough big. The breakfast is in lovely part of the house. You can get also car in bb44 and you'll have a really good price if you stay in bb44 at least one night. The car are not the last model but they are ok. We recommend... More

I usually write about the accommodations FIRST when returning from a trip, but this one required a little more thought. I guess the best way to write about it is to do a list of pros and cons and then explain our stay with a bit more detail. Pros: very clean (my biggest criteria in choosing a room is that... More

We stayed at the Borgarholtsbraut location for one night at each end of a holiday. The whole place has the feel of staying in someone's large home, and I mean that in a good way. The lady that runs BB44 could not be more delightful or helpful. She checked transport times for us, booked cabs, insisted we have a coffee... More

Be aware that BB44 has two properties. Most of the positive reviews refer to the original guest house. We arrived at the guest house (which looked ok) but were then asked to follow in the car on to the second property, also called BB44. This is a lock-up style building on an industrial estate. The location is terrible. The accommodation... More

We stayed 3 nights at the studio with a kitchenette. The studio was cute and clean, but it was rather dark and the tv was missing. The wifi was not working unless we sat, without mooving a bit, on the toilet seat (!). The staff was extra nice, very helpful. There is a grocery store nearby (5 minute walk), which... More

This place is so amazing! I have stayed here many times on my visits to Iceland. The first time was in February of 2005 and each time it just gets better and better. They are constantly adding new and better things to the property. It is run by a family and they are very kind and are constantly there for... More

I spent 3 nights at this place, the owners are very helpful and friendly, good breakfasts. Outside of town in the district of Kopavogur but well connected with local buses into the city centre. There's a very good outdoor swimming pool very close by.
