The out side of the place was not like its inside..the somewhat broken fence hid a very cosy guesthouse. Room was good, bed was great. Kitchen facillities, good free coffee. We somehow misunderstood that breakfast was a possibility. It seems that we missed! It is a bit far from reikjavik, not a substitute to staying in town.

Very good place to stay. The owners are very familiar. We arrived at a day, at which a familiar member had birthday. The owner came to us with a piece of cake. It was very nice and we were surprised. In the morning we got an enormous breakfast with everything someone can wish.

We spent a wonderful first couple of days in Iceland and got a warm welcome in a cute room with a terrific breakfast, especially the pancakes and homemade jams! There was a living room area upstairs by our room which was super cozy and wonderful for relaxing in after walking around Reykjavik city center. Jona was very kind and hospitable;... More

Service was wonderful, rooms were basic but clean and nice. Kitchen is a bonus for anyone planning on staying for more than a night (which is all I did). The breakfast was great--quite the assortment of stuff, including home-made pancakes (crepes).

We arrived in the afternoon and were warm welcomed. We could choose the room we wanted to have for these four nights. The guesthouse is very clean, with comfortable beds. The breakfast is outstanding, including all one could like to eat. We specially recommend the smoked salmon and the herring. The owner is very kind, making all possible efforts to... More

We arrived at the guesthouse and were very warm welcomed. The rooms were very good and especially very clean. The kitchen was also very clean and easy to use for cooking. It’s also a plus to have a toilet on the ground floor and at the first floor. Regrettably it was still too cold for the hot tub so it... More

Stayed there for one night around easter. Central Reykjavik reachable by car within 20 minutes. Newly refurbished house with kitchen (free coffee, tea and pasta) and living room. Warm and clean rooms. Extremely freindly owner, who also serves an excellent breakfast (more than you could expect from farmhouse accommodation) and cooks a plentiful dinner for a very reasonable price on... More

We stayed (two couples) for 3 nights fall 2012 on our way to USA. It is very well situated for traveling in the south-western part of Iceland. Only few kilometers from Reykjavik. Very friendly and helpfull landlady. Excellent breakfast with many local Icelandish dishes. Gladly recommended. Hans Hansen, Boerkop, Denmark

A very nice place in the countryside. Excellent service and very good food (breakfast). The Landlady brought the children to her horses and the children were allowed to visit the horses at any time. .

We had a great stay at this guesthouse a few miles out of Reikjavik. The guesthouse is an independent house on a farm with 6 or so rooms, bathrooms on both floors and a fully equiped kitchen with basic food to help yourself from. The facilities were in perfect and clean state, our room was quite spacious and the bed... More
