We had a spacious, recently decorated room with a wide balcony, for our stay of one night. As others have said, the rooms are from another era, but our dinner was delicious and plentiful, prepared in house with local ingredients. We enjoyed local wine too. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was just what you would expect in the... More

Last week I stayed for four days at this hotel, and came away very reluctantly. True the hotel is furnished from the '60s style, it's a bit like going back to another time frame, but it's part of it's charm at the end. It is run by two brothers and their wives, and they couldn't do enough for any of... More

Looked a big hotel, slightly shabby and it felt very empty. I really thought it had closed down and it felt that our Shearings coach party was the only customers it had. The rooms were okay, plain and a tad shabby but we were only there for the one night. Didn;t like the odd shaped, small balcony (which seemed to... More

Supposedly a 4 star gone to 3 star for tax purposes. Terrible hotel. Scruffy rooms. No lighting on arrival on corridors. Dodgy lifts. Owner really unimpressed with our arrival and just handed out keys with a scowl. Couldn't find rooms due to strange layout. Food poor and no choice. Least shearings could be bothered to pay we got. Breakfast was... More

We stayed for one night on a Shearings tour of Italy. Hotel is dated but clean and the staff were very friendly. Small room with tiny, scruffy bathroom but the air conditioning was working. All rooms seemed to have a balcony. Dinner was good with a salad and vegetable buffet. The food was served quickly and the waiters were helpful... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in the first week of May. The hotel is old, the rooms look worn out, wireless NEVER worked despite some so-to-speak technician working hard to connect the poor hosts (this is what the receptionist told us). Old tvs in the room. Some rust in the toitel. No frills. The lift broke 3 times and... More

We stayed at this hotel while on a Shearings coach holiday. On arrival we were given a friendly welcome & complementary drink in the bar. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, and all seem to have balconies, TVs & working air conditioning. However the hotel is very 1950's, so be prepared to step back in a time warp. Nothing...
