I would recommend this location for people interested in quiet, natural beauty and historical ruins. The "Panzio" or "Fogado" is clean and comfortable. The food isn't the best, but for a village in Eastern Europe you won't find that much better. This is especially an issue if you are vegetarian and appreciate fresh fruits and veggies. You won't find many people speaking English in this part of Hungary. In fact, I couldn't find many people speaking German, either. Most people that stay in this hotel only stay a night or a weekend.

The hotel features a refreshing pool, clay tennis court, and a sauna (which I didn't use). The breakfast is included but is very simple and not fresh (only the eggs are good). The lunch and dinner dishes are mostly meat and the soups are good.
