We had 2 nights at the Elms. We had a perfectly relaxing weekend where the children are more than well catered for and the parents are not forgotten. We had a family room at the top of the house and there were 2 really comfortable z beds already set up for the children (7 and 5 years old) Even with... More

This hotel was once a gracious country house and it still is and set in such beautiful wooded countryside. They seem to specialise in welcoming families with young children, so if you don't like kids running around in the lovely gardens, it is not for you, but we like to hear the laughter of happy children. If you are a... More

The Elms is part of the Family Friendly Group of Hotels (I have previously stayed at the Ickworth which is also part of the group) set in beautiful grounds in Worcestershire. It was chosen by my wife's aunt because we had a wide range of ages in attendance from 6 through to 83. The service was impeccable and the staff... More

I stayed here with my wife and 2 year old daughter. The staff couldn't do enough ...... They where very friendly and very helpful. If you have young children and are afraid of disturbing the rest of the guests then this is the place for you, as most guests have young children as well. I would not recommend this hotel... More

SO lovely and quaint, a hotel not to be missed despite the price. The hotel, the rooms and the grounds were all fabulous but the food potions and selections were not as great at the hotel made them to be. Sadly I had to 'top up' a few times to ensure I was full. Nonetheless, you'll have a good night... More

In theory this hotel is a great idea as it caters for parents with small children; however the hotel is also run by children, the service is terrible. This in part is due to there being only a handful of staff who chip with a bit of everything from reception work to catering. As the the large family room we... More

Rubbery scones and shabby cakes ( complete with cat hair) The service was not particularly good, aside for one excellent waiter from Portugal. Djago, I think he was called. Somewhat over priced and just not the experience it should have been. Could be such a beautiful place if it wasn't so neglected. Won't return on a hurry.

The Elms Hotel and Spa is an ideal combination of a civilised hotel for adults with good facilities for children. They are well catered for with exciting activities in the Bears' Den, which they can enjoy for a 2 hour session each day with enthusiastic trained staff, so the adults can relax in the spa or elsewhere. There are child... More

I stayed there with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. We paid £150 pounds for room that was big on size but tiny on character. You are shown photos online of beautiful old well decorated rooms but instead we were given a room specifically for disabled guests and the decor wouldn't have been out of place in a room worth...
