Everything, from the moment we stepped in until we leave. We spent 3 nights, from Thursday to Sunday, ate there twice - lovely food and good choice of wines, had tasty and varied breakfast, enjoyed the true fire in the bar, the hot chocolate and coffee in the room. Lovely room with a huge comfy bed, slept well all nights.... More

We stayed in in the Nightingale room on a driving trip through southern England. What a gem! Comfy yet elegant decor. Cozy bar with a wood fire. Excellent and creative food and warm and friendly staff made this by far the best hotel we enjoyed during our eight day road trip. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We used this as our base for visiting StoneHenge because it is only fifteen minutes away from the site. It is also ideally located for Salisbury Cathedral and Museum. So, if your visiting StoneHenge and Salisbury then The Pembroke Arms is perfectly located. We stayed in a large double room, which had a huge comfortable bed. I had a fantastic... More

Stayed for Valentines Night with our daughter in the family room. Hotel is lovely, great decor, cosy and warm with open fires and nice touches. Although we stayed with our 3 year old, I would suggest it's more suited to adults. Not that we had a problem with her being there, it's just not aimed at the family market. Breakfast... More

I stayed here for two nights last week. The room was awesome: beautiful big bed that was like sleeping on a cloud, there's a teapot and coffee pot in the room and - hallelujah - fresh milk served in a thermos flask. No nasty UHT stuff. The food, both evening meal and breakfast was well cooked, hot and service quickly... More

We stayed here for one night so we could visit Stonehenge and wished we could have stayed longer. From the minute we walked in we felt comfortable and cozy. The entire ambience makes you feel like you're at a friend's country home. I loved how the antiquity of the place was maintained and yet the amenities were very modern. The... More

I booked a bigger room here for our early valentines only to find the room sat beautifully on a main road with both windows looking out to the Tarmac. When the (very nice) receptionist tried to help all she could suggest was a smaller room for the same price ...so save yourself £20 and do not book room 6 if... More

We booked in advance taking advantage of the winter dinner bed and breakfast offer, we had hoped for room 8 but couldn't book this as this room had a two night stay minimum on the website. Checking in we were thrilled to be given the keys to room 8 "The King's Bedroom." This room is wonderful, the bed large and... More
