Stayed here with my parents for a couple of days and the apartments are just awesome. Wake a up and have breakfast with ocean views in the morning! We will recommend this place to everybody who'll visit the area. The wifi-allowance is a bit on the low side, but hey - it's fee.

We stayed here two nights and got one of the high apartments with an amazing view onto the sea from the balkony. The apartment itself was very big and all equipment was very good quality including all kitchen things. We also had some nice chat with the very friendly owner and the price we payed was really very good if... More

Torlesse Motel sits on a rise overlooking the magnificent sparkling water of Little Kaiteriteri on the edge of Abel Tasman National Park. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and modern. The owners were very helpful and friendly. From Little K we walked u and over the small bluff to Kaiteriteri Beach and took the Sands and Seals boat trip to Tonga... More

We enjoined the friendly welcome and the hints about the best local places to visit for a meal and sightseeing. Very quite and peaceful at Little Kaiteretere Beach. Its a short stroll along the beach and over the hill from the busier holiday camping ground, café and visitor information spots

Thankyou for taking the time to comment about your stay here..We are in a little pocket of New Zealand paradise and so close the the Golden Beach and Abel Tasman National park walks. Most of our units have sea views but the upper level ones have the very best views. Maybe we will see you back in Kaiteriteri in the... More

We stayed 2 nights prior to continuing on down the west coast of the south island. We spent a day driving around the Tasman Bay area and loved it. Takaka Hill is quite a drive, so staying on this side was a blessing when it came time to head off. Kaiteriteri is a beautiful spot with a lovely scenic beach.... More

Thanks for your comments and yes we are in a little 'slice of heaven' Its a shame you did not complete your drive to Marahau as it is another beautiful spot with walking access into the Abel Tasman. The road is quite safe and accessible although a bit windy in places. We had a fantastic stay at Torlesse. Christine greeted us after an eight hour drive up the west coast to Kaiteriteri with the good news that we had been upgraded from a standard twin room to a two bedroom apartment overlooking little Kaiteriteri beach (only 200m away) - a view to die for! Parking was on-site and free. Wifi was... More

We live in Nelson and we're very grateful to have Kaiteriteri right on our doorstep. What amazes us is why people do not go there in the winter. It is a perfect winter destination. The weather is very settled, calm and sunny. With the mountain bike track, beach and Abel Tasman, there is no end of things to do. The... More

We reserved this motel through the i-site in Nelson and, while we thought the motel expensive, were very happy with the spacious 1-bedroom unit, which included a washing machine! (We used the provided drying stand, but drying time could have been purchased in the motel dryer through the front office.) While the inside furnishings were sparse, the balcony on this... More
