We reserved this motel through the i-site in Nelson and, while we thought the motel expensive, were very happy with the spacious 1-bedroom unit, which included a washing machine! (We used the provided drying stand, but drying time could have been purchased in the motel dryer through the front office.) While the inside furnishings were sparse, the balcony on this... More

We had a fantastic stay, family with 2 boys in a very nice warm clean and comfortable unit with seaviews. Never experienced a sky full of stars and so silent during the nights and mornings. Great spapool and service from the manager was excellent. We did a nice day of sailing and hiking in the park and the boat departs... More

Our unit was super clean, freshly painted and warm, with a wonderfull view of the bay. Christine was very welcoming and supplied extra towels when requested. We enjoyed waking up to birdsong and hearing the waves on the beach at night. The winter weather was spectacular for us this weekend and we would love to come back again in the... More

Big units, some of which have good views on the Tasmanian sea, well equipped with everything we hoped for, even a washing machine and kitchen items that were in a good condition. A helpful managing couple. Very clean and tidy. We booked on very short notice and did not expect to find a place that suits us that well. We... More

My wife and I called in at the Torlesse Motels, very last minute. We met a very nice lady who said they only had one room available which was a little plainer than the rest of the complex, so "please have a look". Perfectly fine was our opinion and we took it in a flash. Lovely, clean and fresh. Plus... More

We have just spent three nights at Torlesse and cannot say enough good things. The unit was immaculate, well equipped, with a laundry in the unit. The host was very helpful in providing ideas for things to do, and went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable. She also helped you to find motels for future stays.... More

We stayed two nights in this lovely motel/apartment. It has a rustic cabin feel, yet luxurious with everything you would need. Super comfy bed and great views. The hosts could not have been more nice and accommodating. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Kaiteriteri is not to be missed, and staying here is the icing on the cake!
