My wife and I booked into The Inn at Ardgour for a couple of nights and now wish we could have stayed for a month. The location is beautiful only a stone's throw from the ferry. The room we stayed in was huge and the ensuite was a perfect size too.The staff were just fantastic and went out of their way... more

We had a lovely family room overlooking the loch. The room was very clean and our welcome was friendly. We had our evening meal at the hotel which was good value, the service was excellent and the food was great. Breakfast was just as good. The bar is relaxing. Can highly recommend the flapjack, the best I've tasted. more

We booked this hotel based on prior reviews. I was disappointed with the condition of our room. The bathroom had a great deal of mildew on the ceiling, half the lights didn't work in the room and they didn't change our towels so we had damp towels for our stay. The free internet that I expected was conditional on allowing... more

Hello. Thank-you for taking the time to review our property. I am sorry your experience was not an enjoyable one and would like to take the opportunity to respond to your comments. The state of the ceiling in your room was unacceptable. A review of our house-keeping showed that the ceilings are supposed to be washed every three days or...

Its about 25 minutes from the Town Centre but the inn is located beautifully right next to the Loch Linhe. I loved crossing the corran ferry to reach the Inn. Beautiful Views from the Room. Only problem is the ferry stops running at 9:30pm and so if you want to exit or something or go to the town centre; that... more

We stayed in a triple room (double/single bed) for May long weekend in order to hike Ben Nevis. The inn is located on a loch, absolutely lovely location and a relief to be away from the Fort William town (not too impressed). The ferry ride from Fort William was very short however it was very pricey...around £6.45 from memory. However... more

We had high expectations for this hotel having read previous reviews and whilst there was no major problem there were some minor disappointments. 1. Location. It is very convenient for the ferry, being right by the jetty. However, you should be aware it is over £6 to cross each time. The views across the loch are beautiful but try to... more

My second stay at the Inn at Ardgour. Really fantastic place. Great to come off the ferry and be staying overlooking the loch. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff. The bar is populated not only by the guests but by the locals. A great selection of whisky. We thought that the food has stepped up in variety/ quality compared with... more

We stayed here for one night a week ago and I would definately stay again. Our room was spotless and spacious. Large bathroom clean and sparkling. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of breakfast in the morning which is included in the price, I was stuffed afterwards! I would highly reccommend this place. more

We have no complaints from our stay here. It was inexpensive (for Scotland), and we had a good pub-style dinner and a filling breakfast that got us ready for the day ahead. We took the ferry ride over from Corran, spent a night in the bar listening to the wind bluster outside. Good way to spend an evening. Our room... more
