We did a driving tour of the highlands and relied on the cars navigation to get us to this B&B. We were pretty concerned when the driving route took us away from Fort Williams & down a winding, one lane, country style road with sheep & wildlife for over 20 miles next to the very big loch. It was getting... More

We were on our way north and this was a great place to stay enroute. We enjoyed our ferry crossing (5 minutes) - and free for pedestrians when you leave the car on the other side of the loch. Everything we needed was to hand, with excellent breakfast to start our day and a warm and cosy residents lounge after... More

We stayed here for one night and cant complain. The room was clean and had everything you needed and has a lovely view onto the hills and lake. The evening meal was good plenty to choose from and service was good, bar was busy on a Thursday night so had a good atmosphere. We traveled with our two dogs who... More

We were made very welcome by both the owners and their staff throughout our stay. Our room was spotless and warm and our breakfasts were very hearty and set us up for the day. We ate in the bar both evenings as we were travelling with our dog. He was also made very welcome by everyone. If you are a... More

The Inn at Ardgour is accessed by taking a short ferry crossing. The room was basic but clean. The TV was a bit dodgy and our window would not close properly. I think an investment in Double Glazing would be good to help drown out the early morning Ferry. The bar is lovely, quaint and cosy. Staff are great, very... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Inn and couldn't fault it. Had a family suite for 2 adults and our 2 children aged 10 and 7. The welcome was warm from Luke and he and the staff looked after us very well through the whole weekend. The bedroom was clean, warm and equipped with everything... More

This hotel was selected by my husband and I for its location and we were not let down. What a beautiful part of the country. Rooms were basic but very clean. Our bed was very creaky so this may be something to invest for other guests. We had no remote control which we understand was soon to be rectified when... More

We stayed here over New Year for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Inn is situated right on the edge of the Loch and commands superb views of Loch Linnie, Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and superb quality. Evening meals can be taken in the bar, residents lounge or the dining room and again there is... More

First of all, the location is incredible. Access by a short ferry (5 minutes but costs £7.60 per car each way) unless you want to take the scenic route and add an extra couple of hours to your journey. You will not be passing this place en route anywhere. The Inn has had quite a bit spent on it since... More
