Had an evening meal here before we headed on the ferry back to the mainland. Very long wait (50 mins) before our order was even taken, meal order was not complete and had naughtily been charged for full meals rather than basket ones which we'd clearly ordered. Food was ok pub grub quality but won't be returning

Thank-you for your review. I am sorry you feel you were miss-sold your dinner, that the wait was too long and that the food was no more than ok. I am sure you are right and that we love to rip people off as it could not possibly have been a misunderstanding, we are lazy and slow because it wasn't... More

The inn was beautiful--right on the water, with great service and DELICIOUS food. The staff was pleasant, flexible, and helped us navigate the area, providing recommendations and directions. I highly recommend the hotel.

Lovely hotel, good size and very comfortable room with a stunning view of the loch, beautiful early morning, excellent food. Fantastic and very helpful staff. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough, had such a great time and very much looking forward to going back soon. Would recommend taking the ferry across the loch which is located opposite.

At the end of a short stay in Scotland, we stayed at the Inn with some American friends. They thought that it was so romantic. We all loved it. We had booked, but didn't know about the ferry which was actually no problem at all. We had dinner at the bar and breakfast the next morning. The staff was polite,... More

I stayed a week with a group of 6 French customers, walking and touring in the Lochaber area. I read many of the reviews on the Inn (good and bad), before initially contacting Luke Alexander to inquire about booking. From the outset, all our dealings have been efficient, courteous and helpful at all times, and during our stay we found... More

5 of us were in the family room (2 room connected - 1 with a double and a single and 1 with bunk bed). The beds were very comfortable, the rooms are clean, bright and airy with beautiful view over the loch. They are generous with tea and coffee in the room. There is a resident lounge in the inn... Stayed there for 2 nights whilst doing the 3 Peaks with friends. The little ferry too and fro gave it a certain 'island charm'. Our room overlooked the loch which was a view I could happily gaze at for hours. Simply stunning. We ate there both nights in the bar and were very happy with all of our meals. The... More

Thank-you for your review. The midges can be a nightmare but protective creams/sprays that actually work are available these days. Ask at the bar or reception for more information. More

We stayed for two nights in the Perigrine Falcon room 9. It was very clean and of a good size. The bed however is very squeaky which should be an easy fix for the handyman. Yes the ferry is a little noisy but not so much as to be annoying. We ate both nights in the bar and the food... More

My Wife and I recently took the kids on a three-week vacation through Rome, England, and The Scottish Highlands. After starting our trip in Rome, we then flew to Gatwick where we spent a few days around Oxford before heading on to Liverpool. After a week spent in Liverpool it was time to head out again...
