Please don't be put off by poor reviews. This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The drive from Havana is straightforward and, as long as you don't miss the sudden turn off for Las Terrazas from Autopista, easy to get to. You feel like you have entered a hidden valley with a buzz of local and tourist activity.... More

This is a very comfartable hotel in the unique Las Terazas in Cuba. After spending a month in Casa Particulares it came as a pleasnt surprise. Don't miss the happy hour in the bar with the house band.

Great location and great views. Large rooms. Pool closed when I visited in July 2015. Avoid the restaurant - bad buffet, ran out of food, like feeding time at the zoo, no good. My only cockroach experience in Cuba but I did get 3 in two nights!

Of all the places we stayed at, La Moka definitely had the best rooms. They were spacious, comfortable, large bathroom, great shower. The staff isn't the friendliest we came across, often they did not seem very interested. The swimming pool was unfortunately out of order. We had dinner in the restaurant twice. Although the food was not bad, waiting times... More

This hotel is set in the most beautiful countryside. All the rooms have views but the ones on the lower level are not as good as those on the upper. On the lower level you tend to see tree trunks whereas the little bit of elevation gives a view across the valley. The room was very spacious and the bathroom... More

Very hard to put in words and after having read reviews on Trip Advisor we booked a home stay villa in the village. But when we arrived we were pleasantly suprised and booked into the hotel. Big room, spacious bathroom with bath and shower and balcony and double aspect views - didn't recognise the reviews that had put us off.... More

I travelled with my girlfriend in May 2015 and we both agreed Hotel Moka was our favourite hotel/casa. The rooms are wonderful, with a great balcony overlooking the village and showering in the bathroom makes you feel like you are in the trees, due to the huge glass windows. The staff were well informed, spoke good English and were friendly.... More

Stayed 2 nights in Hotel Moka and found it to be perfect for a short stay. The main part of the hotel building is built as a series of wooden decks with lovely views over the surrounding valley. The reception staff and the lady who worked in the little bar were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly fine, we... More

I have visited Cuba 10 times over the last 15 years and the thing about Cuba is that the same place can be good or excellent one day and disappointing the next. "Es Cuba", as they say. So having said this, our stay was pretty good overall. The surroundings are beautiful and it is a great place to relax after... More

Our entire group - 14 people - got food poisoning in this place. Many of us thought it was the beans. Ask when they were cooked and avoid fresh vegetables when eating at this establishment. Apart from this unfortunate event, the place is ok. One can see the country side. But don't expect much. It is pretty much a dump.
