I loved this hotel. The room was spacious and unusual. There appeared to be 2 lizards living in the ceiling but with such a high ceiling it didn't matter. The room was very clean. I especially liked the bathroom. Although the sunken bath was surrounded by glass, the hotel is built in such a way that nobody can see you.... More

This hotel has a huge tree growing through the middle of it which s spectacular. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the biosphere community of Las Terrazas. It is a self sufficient community of approx.. 1000 individuals. Children run and play freely as there are no computers , x boxes , mobiles etc. Marie's coffee bar is lovely.... More

I have read mixed reviews for this place on here, but have to say that I found it excellent. The hotel is in a unique location and really feels like part of the forest. We had a room with a balcony with a stunning view and even a shower from which we could see outside. Service was also excellent. If... More

Our room was Ok but could have been better for what they call four star but this is Cuba, nothing compares with the rest of the world. The best thing about La Moka was the cocktail named after it, which included loads of Cuban rum. Our room was very basic but it at least had hot and cold running water.... More

This was the worst accommodation that we used during our two weeks trip to Cuba. The place is called ecohotel. Eco? This is a huge concrete building on to of a hill, with a tree in recepton. We paid 120CUC for the room. This is very expensive for Cuban standards. This building was constructed in the 90's with materials and... More

I stayed in Hotel Moka in January 2015 for 1 night. There is nothing close to the hotel (walking distance) - so not much to do. The location is very pleasant, and the hotel is unusual with the lobby built around a massive tree. But not enough here to warrant an overnight stay. The hotel did have a swimming pool,... More

A wonderfully situated hotel with trees growing through it in the heart of a forest. Large, airy and well appointed rooms with good air conditioning and 2 double beds. Stunning outlook. Try and get a room away from the bar as the music can go on late and is loud! Restaurant is poor with little decent choice of food -... More

Wonderfully situated hotel with well appointed rooms with views (especially when in the bath/shower!). Pity about the weather but then you can expect rain in a rain forest but the bar though small was excellent with a good band. Despite the weather (and the indifferent breakfast) we really enjoyed our stay - perhaps we inhabit a parallel universe to some... More

Nice place to put your feet up and relax after tiring your legs doing walking tours of old Havana. Set on a reforested hillside, it commands scenic views from its many airy verandas and balconies. Bills itself as an "ecological" hotel - but apart from the sole tree that was spared during construction and now shoots up inside the property... More

The hotel must have looked great 15 years ago, today it's old and not worth it. The restaurant is the most expensive and worst one we've experienced in Cuba. They can't even prepare a proper daiquiri at the bar... makes you feel you're not in Cuba.
