Dont get fooled by the size of the hotel. For its size and location it offers everything as precisely as you would find in much larger hotels. A gem of hotel and I would highly recommend this place big time. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Stayed here during a visit to catch up with friends. Every aspect of hotel was excellent; food, staff and room. Highly recommend this as a base. Local shops great and away from the tourist trap of the main cities. Local theatre, casino, countryside all in walking distance.

I like staying here... the rooms are a little tired and small, the breakfasts could be improved and the view is mostly of a car park... BUT the Grand Cafe food is great and the atmosphere and service in this hotel has always been consistently good and it's pretty much in the centre of town with all the amenities... Plus... More

I had a pleasant stay here during a business trip! Had a meeting in emmeloord and this hotel was very centrally located. I liked the restaurant area. The rooms Seem a little outdated though. Very basic rooms and hotel but on my next trip i would stay here again.

All around a good stay, the team here is very helpful and responsive. The place is well run. The rooms are clean and that is most important but the furnishings are quite dated. I don't mind old furniture but hate staying and walking over really old carpets. The cafe is very popular even with the locals and the bar is... More

Not bad all, enjoyed my stay in this basic-but-good hotel. Service was pretty good, breakfast was OK, rooms were not too bad. They have a nice outside terrace with good ambiance and some nice snacks and drinks.

I stayed overnight in this hotel whilst on a business trip in the local area and the availability of hotels in the general area is obviously not as high as one could expect in Amsterdam. The check-in was painless, and although I arrived early - before the check-in time, the receptionist and the housekeeper made every effort to make the... More

Receptionist found a secure place for the bikes and check in was hassle free! Room etc great in the perfect location. Ate in the hotel restaurant - despite it being Friday night - at the busiest place in town - the waitress still found me cheese & biscuits, even though it wasn't on the menu!Happy Days.

I have been staying at Best Western hotels for quite a few years now mainly in USA and Europe, this is one of the finest Best Western hotels I have stayed at (in particular if you take the price vs value into account). Stayed in room 36 which has spectacular views over the city and yet is incredibly quiet through... More

Our room and bathroom were small but did have a desk and table as well as coffee making equipment (hooray, something that is few and far between in Europe). All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we arrived late ( the hotel is just across from the bus stop if you are... More
