Web site is confusing, as we thoguht we'd booked a special Amex package that gave us a mini-suite with breakfast, but on arrival we had to pay extra to include the breakfast. The mini-suite was just a bit more space in a single room. Very weird arrangement.with teh TV on a coffee table near the foot of the bed. A... More

Calm and quiet location, nice and friendly personnel - unfortunately the infrastructure of the hotel is not at par with a 4 star claim as some rooms are still in original state (25 years old) - sorry, but Golden Tulip management needs to consider some serious renovation. Finally the brand new Nescafé machines running in the breakfast area will never... More

I was twice in this 4 stars Dutch Hotel, each time wondering where the stars come from. Rooms are small with a bathroom like from 2 stars hotels. TV selection very limited. Bed not very comfortable with all noices coming from a corridor into the room during a night, despite each time I had so called 'quiet room' (with a... More

Booked at the Ampt Nijkerk for three nights. It is a nice quiet hotel, a good solid four star with efficient staff, clean compact rooms but all one would expect in mod cons, and a nice restaurant. It is a little distant from the train station and there are not many taxis in Nijkerk. I found the 1.5 km walk... More

I was visiting a company near to this hotel, which they booked for me. In an orgy of solicitude they met me at the airport, took me to the hotel and then arranged to meet me there the next morning. Which suits me: evenings talking business are not my idea of fun. But I digress. Basically, this meant that I... More

Ive been here last weekend to enjoy a relaxing weekend with my girlfriend. The hotel is located a bit away from the citycentre, approximately 5 minutes by car, bikes were also for rent. Reception and personnel is friendly, ambiance is nice and modern, the room was BIG with a plasma tv, a big bed and a small bed, a bath... More

The luxury rooms are a must. The basic rooms are very basic and I think they are overpriced. The hotel is a bit dated. The swimmingpool looks nice on the hotel photo's. The breakfast is good. There is a lot of choice. Everything was warm and fresh. Lovely brown bread and even asian noodles. The staff was very friendly.

Check in was fast and friendly. The room was good and all the fixtures in good shape. Towels clean and plentiful. Good but small pool and sauna. Dinner was superb €24 for 2 courses. Starter was salad nicoise, tuna, poached egg, anchovies and fresh salad. Main was chicken and pasta, huge portion, came with daupinoise potatoes and a sidebowl of... More

This is a good hotel with nice rooms (refurbished rooms are vey nice, other ones are ok), access to a swimming pool until late (usually they never close the door), a sauna and hamman is also accessible. Breakfast is good, either continentaf or with french bakery. Wifi is now free ! The restaurant quality is decreasing over the time, which... More

Stayed here as part of a conference next door. About 5 mins drive from Nijkerk station, taxis are generally not available so pre-arrange a ride. There are long bike and running trails right outside the hotel. The rooms are nice. Had dinner the first night and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The checkout time is 11am and was... More
