This is a great alternative if you are visiting the Veluwe and/or Harderwijk with its Dolfinarium. It has a real country feel with lush grounds and its own outdoor activity centre. The rooms are OK though slightly worn. The breakfast is great!

I stayed at this hotel with a student tour group and it was a nice enough hotel. I'm certain in the Summer it would be absolutely beautiful with neat activities. However, in the late winter/spring it was just ok. Additionally, navigating from whichever hotel building you're in to the front desk area can be very difficult at night. It is... More

We stayed here with a group of 35 high school students and teachers on our tour of Europe. The rooms were nice and I could tell that the grounds would be beautiful in the spring/summer. We had some trouble locating the building we were staying in as there was little lighting around the grounds and the directions were unclear. However,... More

We stayed as a family for the weekend, nice food, attentive staff and all going the extra mile. Compliments for the organisation of this hotel. We took the childeren to the Dolfinarium, Great show and the really enjoyed the afternoon.

The location is near the "Veluwe" park. The area is very nice. Ask the reception for a walking map or cycling. You can hire a bike for € 10,00 a day. The breakfast is oke but I expected more for a four stars hotel, the breakfast room self is interesting, it used to be a stable in the past. The... More

What used to be a wonderful hotel (with rooms spread over several different buildings) is now a bit of a disappointment. We’ve stayed at this hotel at least 11 times in the past 9 years. The rooms used to be nice, but lately it seems they have to do more things with less time/money. As a result, the rooms are... More

Nice hotel, some new rooms.[upgrade] Good atmosphere. Close to a lot of tourist places. Very good breakfast and a nice resraurant. A lot of attention fot guests with food allergy. In the summer season outside a nice swimmingpool with beds and parasols. Enough parkingplaces.

Booked five nights but left after two. Staff all very polite and helpful although I had to stop the check-out lady trying to charge for three nights! Interesting location in woodland area. Comprises a cluster of buildings linked by covered walkways. Excellent buffet breakfast (though tables a bit too close for comfort). BUT the room was hardly four-star standard- no... More

Last weekend we went on a package deal to this hotel. Warm welcome, bit of a mix up with the bill, but quickly resolved. Rooms in a different building than restaurant, reception and bar, but to get to the room you get to walk through a lovely garden with an aviary. Rooms are big, bathroom has a big bath tub... More
