Top location for biking and bush walking along Dutch rural sceneries. One can rent bikes in the hotel. Rustic old trees surrounds the hotel thus refreshing. Fresh air dominates the ambiance. Restaurant is cozy and pleasant with mix decor of antique and modern. In a conservatory or outside terrrace. Breakfast is very varied. How I love frying my own bacon... More

Beautiful surroundings and big garden. Room was fine but a bit noisy when people chatted on the corridors. Breakfast very good, lots of choices and nicely presented in the old kitchen. Main building was beautiful.

It is not a modern design hotel but on the opposite of it. This hotel was used to be a sanatorium, surrounded by nature, has warmth atmosphere and an old kitchen. Good restaurant, friendly staff, clean room, free wifi and enough parking area. This hotel does something for the environment. When you hang a sign on your door that you... More

Stayed at the former sanitorium for one night on a business trip, and found it an Ok "no frills" stop over. The location is very nice and restful, and although the rooms are basic they are a good size and clean. Compared to the very good price of the accomodation, the restaurant is exensive, and the buffet dinner is not... More

We came back here for a family celebration with 12 adults and 7 children. Not all arrangements made beforehand came about and the kitchen management left something to be desired too. The evening fish was on the (buffet only) menu the smell had not gone by 22:00h

This former hospital (sanatorium) is surrounded by woods and the wider landscape is most attractive too: cycling and hiking opportunities galore. The accommodation is basic and utilitarian but sufficient - and this is reflected in the price :) We had taken the High Tea arrangement, and took the High Tea at 17:00h. This resulted in an ample array of savoury... More

Stayed at this hotel along with approximately 150 other people on a classic car event in mid-May. The room was excellent. The buffet style breakfasts and evening meal were also very good. Unfortunately the last evening "gala dinner" for our group was silver service and made for it being very slow. Would have been better to stick to the buffet... More

Excellent value with our "Deal van de dag" booking. Main hotel building and grounds lovely. Breakfast ample selection, including cook-your-own bacon and eggs, and the dining room is in very attractive glass annex to the main hotel building. Rooms comfortable enough but not "luxe", located in separate buildings than restaurant. We didn't eat there (other than snacks in the bar)... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during a weekend. This hotel is located 1.5 km from the small village Almen, surrounded by fields and wood. Don't go there for a great dinner, during our stay they served only a buffet, which was average. But there are a lot of nice restaurants in the nearby villages. Breakfast was good. There are...
