we went there as a group and had a great time, I have read some bad reviews but we couldn't fault it, we were treated well and the food they dished up was great, probably too much for some people, the staff were friendly and very helpful we were quite happy with it all.

This hotel is fine rooms clean and everything you need. Large free parking area. Didn't eat a meal here. But the breakfast was very nice and the ladies serving you had a very nice and friendly manner. So all in all a good hotel

The place is OK, not the cleanest but not too bad either. The worst bit about this hotel is one particular lady in the restaurant - awful welcome, rude and arrogant, it almost feel as she is doing you a favour - even though YOU are paying for your breakfast. If you don't have to eat there, don't eat there!

Stayed for one night. Clean hotel. I arrived quite late so met friends and went straight to room. Walls are paper thin & could hear everything that was said in the next room. Didn't eat or buy drinks so cant comment on those. But overall nice spacious rooms.

Friendly staff on the reception. Bed quite small, just a standard double, and it was extremely hard. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze! Knees touching the HOT towel rail while on the loo! Water was nice and hot in the morning though. Breakfast just short of ten quid! and it was 'ok' - nothing to write home about... More

Stayed here whilst working in wickford, Staff were polite and helpful. The rooms surround a yard and garden area so if you want a breath of fresh air its outside your room door. Bathroom had a bath & shower and water was piping hot and the shower quite powerful. Breakfast was a little dissapointing and not the cheapest however evening... More

Stayed here for business. Large comfortable rooms, best if you like accents of brown. Corridors a bit industrial, but no need to spend much time in them. Evening meal of chicken madras much better than i expected. All staff encountered pleasant and helpful.

This was the eleventh of twenty hotels (11 Travelodges, 8 Premier Inns and the Chichester) used by my wife and myself on our tour of Wales and England in August 2013. We had pre-booked and pre-paid for all Travelodges and Premier Inns. Location: Rural Setting. No Lift Reception: Formal. No sense of welcome. Bedroom: On first floor. Spacious and very... More
