We stayed at Cwm Connell three times during 2013 and had a fantastic time on each occasion. The location is wonderful, close to many beautiful beaches and villages. Paul and Lisa are very welcoming and the scones on arrival were a pleasant surprise. We stayed in Fron Haul the first time which was very nice but then chose Yr Ydlan... More

Our second stay in Yr Ffald and we fell in love with it a little bit more. I was left to unpack in peace, while my husband and our young son went on an 'exploration' to Ceibwr Cove nearby. Their enthusiasm drove me to make a return trip with them later, to watch seals putting on quite a show for... More

Spent a wonderful week in August in Yr Ffald. Weather was fantastic and allowed us to make the most of Poppit Sands which is a short drive away. A short walk from the cottage takes you to the secluded Ceibwr Bay which my 2 girls loved. There is a great play area for kids in St Dogmels and some lovely... More

These cottages are situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales I have visited. Located at the end of a dirt track (don't bring your 2 seater sports car) they are nicely isolated yet only a 15 minute drive to Cardigan where you can get everything you need from Tesco's. There are numerous walks from your front door... More

Agree with all the other comments on Trip Advisor about the quality of the accommodation and friendliness of the hosts. We stayed in Yr Ffald with our 1 year old son, and were all very comfortable and cosy. We didn't mind the long gravel track to the cottages, but we are used to driving on unmade roads in New Zealand.... More

Visited on 15/09/13 hoping for a relaxing break with plenty of places to visit with our dog. We were not disappointed in any way. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything that we wanted. Very close to beaches that fortunately for us were dog friendly and several places of interest to visit. Very warm welcome on arrival. Fresh bread... More

We needed a quiet holiday this year, and decided to try self-catering. We kept putting off booking something, but were then some friends recommended Cwm Connell Coastal Cottages after staying there earlier in the year. We booked Ger y Llynn for a week in August without quite being sure what to expect but were absolutely delighted. The cottage was quite... More

For our main holiday this year we wanted a peaceful location with plenty of walking and other outdoor activities within easy reach. Cwm Connell was absolutely perfect! Even though all the cottages are joined together in one block the walls are so thick you never really hear noise from other occupants, although we were there out of school holidays so... More

Another great fortnight at Cwm Connell with lovely weather about our 20th visit. Yr Fald with its wet room and ramp means my wife can cope in the cottage. Good food and fresh bread available delivered to you cottage. We have never seen the costal wildflowers better than this year.

This place ticks all the boxes. We tend to do a lot of research to find special places to visit around the world (and we live in beautiful rural Devon) - so somewhere in the UK needs to be special - and this was. A stunning location: a short walk down a magical wooded valley filled with wild flowers to... More
