Booked into this for a business meeting. In a very pretty part of the country. I agree with other reviewers that the decor resembles a hostel in parts and is quite dated. Rooms are large and clean, but scarsely equipped. Hotel should undergo urgently a major renovation. Breakfast buffet is not very fancy, fruit salad was tasteless. Tables were not cleaned during breakfast time. View from the balcony is terrific. Dinner quality is astonishing and in sharp contrast to the rest of the hotel.

We turned up at this hotel without any reservation. The staff was extremely friendly, even helped us to find out details about wineries we wanted to visit.
