It was a lovely opportunity to stay in such a historical building. As the hotel was listed as 2 star I had thought that it might be a bit spartan, but that was certainly not the case, it was very comfortable. We arrived on a rather cold May Day, but the heating soon warmed the room up and the dinning... More

We stayed here with a group trip, an unbelievable place, how it is only two star was beyond us. Everything about the place, tells me that I should not be able to afford it. Our room was palatial with great mountain views. The whole ambience of the place oozed tranquility, we would like to have stayed longer.

If you want to feel that you traveled thru time stay here. The rooms are very big with very high ceiling overlooking the city, outside the room you have a square gallery overlooking the interior patio, where , particularly at night, you can let you mind travel thru pass centuries. Very quiet place with big rooms with modern bathroom and... More

We spent a very happy week here in late March 2013. The atmosphere was amazing, tranquility would be the word best describing our stay. The large bedroom was very good with an equally large bathroom with views over to the occasionally snowy topped mountains. The breakfast was a buffet style and sometimes with hot meats and scrabbled eggs. We were... More

We were fortunate enough to stay here on an excursion through our study abroad program. I stayed in the room with the awesome turit spa-shower and very spacious room. We dinned for dinner and breakfast and I had not complaints. Overall, an experience I recommend!

We revised our trip to stay here and it was well worth it. The rooms are big and spacious. The views are incredible, both out to the mountains and in to the courtyard. The cloisters are lovely and have outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. The restaurant's food was delicious for dinner. I highly recommend a stay here in this... More

I stayed here many years ago and wanted to share the experience with my new wife. We were given a 2nd floor room with a very high ceiling and a little balcony overlooking small farms in the back of the town. The roosters crowed all day and we heard donkeys braying periodically. When we checked out the bathroom, to our... More

We had a fabulous overnight stay here in a huge, high ceilinged, comfortable room with four poster bed and Juliet balcony overlooking the town. All of the rooms lead on to an enormous walled central courtyard with 2 tiers of galleries. The courtyard is stone paved and filled with terracotta pots and beautifully cared for plants. The bar was great,... More

Lovely place to stay as part of the Monasterio. We stayed here two nights in a twin room. Free private car park. Perfect cloisters for an evening beer and dinner, good fixed price Menu including wine for 17 euro. Breakfast buffet was good. Bathroom with over bath shower, I saw the mixer taps extension and my heart sunk, however the... More

We only dined here (we stayed at the Parador). The dinner was absolutely wonderful, in the very old courtyard. I cannot recommend it higher. The whole family loved it. Every aspect of it, from the food and the waitstaff was very, very special. I recommend the raspberry sorbet (the lemon was good too).
