The nuts huts is a really fun place. The huts are basic but adequate, at the river. The restaurant is up the Hill (I think 120 steps...) and this is worth it. Nice view, great place to just hang and play games. Food was good, especially the sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry and the home made fries and loempia's.... More

It was not easy to find this resort, especially that the Sarimanok sign board was not that obvious on the road. When we arrived there at the dock of Nuts Huts, we still have to climb up to the reception area (and restaurant) to check in and come all the way down to our cottage. So it was quite an... More

After reading several reviews of Nut Huts we had high expectations. Unfortunately we had a mixed experience, nothing particularly wrong just disappointing. The rooms were nice and clean but the mosquito nets had holes (the mosquitos were abundant) and don’t expect privacy in the toilets. The food was disappointing, bland and uninspired. An attempt at a semi international menu was... More

Visit in July 2015 The road down to the Resort is bumpy, full of rocks and at the time mud (15 min walk with backpack). When you reach the Resort area, you look at 100+ steep steps down to the reception area! We had to take a breather before starting to climb down! After that, 120 steps more down to... More

Nuts Huts is a great place to forget your worries. If you want to forget city life as quickly as possible, this is the place to go. I've been to this place twice. One thing that is really striking is the natural beauty of the area. Staying in the huts with the sounds outside, you really feel as if you're... More

Nuts Huts is a pleasant but very basic place to stay. The bamboo cottages are simple but comfortable. Your right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by the rich jungle smell and sounds of wildlife. The trek into and out of nuts is a bit of a pain and if your as lazy and prone to complaining as my... More

It was a disappointing stay at Nuts Huts. The value for money is not very good. Friendly staff but very un-knowledgeable. Everything we asked is answered with "I don't know" BUT with a smile on their faces. The only good points were the view from the restaurant (which was fairly expensive and every time you order the same thing it'd... More

The resort is situated in an amazing position, with a stunning view of the Loboc River. To get to the resort you have to walk a 800 meters off-road but don't let this scare you.. The place deserves the walk! The room was nice, we stayed in a vip hut called Start Trek. Amazing view on the river and we... More

My partner and I stayed at Nuts Huts in one of the double rooms with fan - not the cheapest room. Nuts Huts is a friendly, peaceful oasis in what feels like the middle of the jungle. All of the staff of helpful and kind. The river is glorious to swim in and there is a nice walk to the... More

We have mixed feelings about this place. We stayed 3 nights but had originally planned to stay longer. The staff were friendly & helpful, and they served up great food. The dining & lounging area was a really nice feature, & made all the steps worth it. We were not as thrilled by the riverside huts, though. We had a... More

Dear Travellers and Reviewers, Thanks for the many positive comments! We are keeping up standards and it is good to read our guests are happy here. There are a number of (minor) issues in recent posts brought up by reviewers who are generally happy about their stay in Nuts Huts and also – rightfully so – point out some ‘discomforts’... More
