We stayed here for two nights after arriving in Thessaloniki before going on to Meteora. The hotel is located just above the main square of tavernas and shops and less than a 5 minute walk from the tombs. We had room 5 with double bed, fridge and balcony overlooking the hills, it was peaceful as it is away from the... More

Great staff, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, WiFi that works, good position for visiting the tombs and a good position if you are looking for a break whilst traveling the ignatia highway. The bathroom, especially the shower would benefit from updating.

We stayed here for one night to visit the Royal Tombs. It is a quiet little town with a few tavernas. This place was within walking distance of them all. Excellent hospitality and an awesome home made breakfast with items from their own garden!

My friend and I arrived in Vergina on our first day in Greece from London. Between us we can speak maybe five words of Greek but the friendly nature of the staff and their kindness in persevering with two bumbling Englishmen was greatly appreciated. This guesthouse is family-run and everyone we encountered there was very kind and helpful. This may... More

On study tour for a course at university and we needed to go to Macedonia (the real one in Greece, not Europe's North Korea, aka: FYROM) and view the tombs of famous Hellenes such as Phillip II. We stayed at this lovely Guesthouse while we were there, great rooms, clean, well equipped, very friendly family run business, fantastic breakfast available... More

Very nice family business, sqeaky clean and the decoration felt like home. A three-minute walk from the Aiges museum and in a site with total tranquility. Beds were comfortable and the room nice and warm (we went during the winter). Breakfast was ok, for an extra 5euros per person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. An overall great experience,... More

If your way goes from Thesaloniki to Ionnina or back (on high-way Egnatia Odos) and you need a host, don't hesitate to stay at Olympia Guest House in Vergina. The house has a green yard that will relax you imediatly. After a long roud aprox. 10h of driving, when I see the paradise that I find I was recharged with... More

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The hotel is run by a tremendously warm and welcoming family - Maria, Spiros, Thomas and Olympia - who make you feel completely at home and so well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was beautifully clean and well presented, the beds were extremely comfortable, the breakfasts are... More

This is a small- family-owned hotel approximately three minutes' walk from the archaeological sites at Vergina. Rooms are modern, clean, have balconies, AC, a "minibar-type" fridge, a welcoming bowl of fruit....Staff are welcoming, friendly, interesting, accommodating and knowledgeable. Breakfast (not included in the price of the rooms) is generous and delicious (we were kindly given a huge piece of the... More

I arrived late (23:00) with my family and waited for us to offer a hot drink. The next day I saw an excellent breakfast which statist to eat until the afternoon. Thomas pulled me a map so that I can visit some extra makedonikous graves and school of Aristotle, except for the museum of Vergina indescribable! wait for the summer... More
