While traveling to see the Tombs at Vergina, we stayed for two nights at a spectacular Hotel at the top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards, luscious greenery and magnificent views. Ktima Kalaitzis was luxurious, and although it appeared it had been there for a century it was actually newly built and modern in all its amenities. The rooms were... More

My husband and I went to Greece for a wedding. After spending a few days in Athens we drove up north to thessaloniki. The wedding was at the beautiful Estate Kalaitzis. sitting in the middle of a vineyard with breathtaking views of the valley below. Kalaitzis estate is an amazing boutique hotel in Veria. The view is breathtaking. Has also a large garden with trees and flowers and wine farms. We're visiting estate kalaitzis whenever we can and have a glass of wine or a hot chocolate next to the fireplace. The decoration is very unique. We also chose it to have our wedding pictures... My wife and I spent a new year's celebration at Kalaitzi Estate (aka ktima Kalaitzi) with few friends. There was a DJ playing fun music, there was lots of dancing, but most important the food and wine (a generous buffet dinner) were of top quality. The price was more than reasonable and the whole atmosphere very warm and joyful. The... More
