First day back from our stay and missing the extensive buffet breakfast, cereals, cheese, meats, breads, patisserie and jams were just my favourites! The rooms were modern and clean with bath and shower which is rare in most hotels these days. Our room was situated close to the sun terrace with Very comfortable furniture. Our hosts were very helpful and... More

This is a lovely hotel, relatively recently extended to a good specification. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and has some nice touches like a lovely pool and a sun terrace. The buffet breakfast was good with a few local touches on the buffet like Sirop de Liege. Very tasty breads and pain d'epices. The extension of the hotel makes... More

When you drive you think that the location could be better as it is right on the old border crossing where there is a small lorry parking area. Once in the hotel it all changes, a warm welcome with a cocktail from the host. The hotel is modern, well appointed and spotless. We had a room overlooking the fields with... More

You can always tell a hotel that is run by the owners. There is just that little bit of extra effort involved. I have to say, we discovered the hotel by chance, as my daughter and I had (another) trip to Plopsaland arranged and she said she would like to stay in a hotel with a pool. A look through... More

Our visit here was superb we got a room upgrade which overlooked the fields and you could see for miles. The room was very modern and roomy with some nice touches e.g box of complimentary Belgian chocolates a complimentary drink also on arrival very nice personal touch. The Hotel itself was very roomy and immaculately presented. The breakfast was continental... More

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to our intended locations to visit Bailleul, Ypres and other war grave locations. It was only 20-25 minutes for all the sites. In addition we had a bonus of Lijssenthoek cemetery 5 minutes down the road which wasn't planned. The hotel is a family run establishment where everyone works very hard... More

We had a wonderfully warm welcome at this family run hotel, Gucci the dog included! The room was clean and comfortable (we had a room with 3 x single beds). My friends Mum was tired from our journey when we arrived in the evening and even though my friend and I went down to the restaurant to enjoy a beautifully... More

Brilliant hotel! Very friendly family run business. Helped with navigation to local sights. Lovely welcome from the hotel dog. Best Spaghetti Bolognaise ever! Kids enjoyed the pool. Lots of relaxation space and fabulous roof terrace for sunbathing.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to our intended locations to visit of Ypres and Ploegsteert. Whilst at the hotel the owners gave us every help and advice as to where else to visit should time permit. The hotel is very clean with spacious bedrooms, a very good continental breakfast and more than adequate evening meal. Mention... More

We arrived very late but were welcomed warmly and someone accompanied us to our rooms. We told our host that we will need to leave at 7am the next day, so we would miss breakfast - which is from 8-9.30am. He told us that he might be able to give us a breakfast bag. And yes, the next morning, around... More
