We had a wonderfully warm welcome at this family run hotel, Gucci the dog included! The room was clean and comfortable (we had a room with 3 x single beds). My friends Mum was tired from our journey when we arrived in the evening and even though my friend and I went down to the restaurant to enjoy a beautifully... More

Brilliant hotel! Very friendly family run business. Helped with navigation to local sights. Lovely welcome from the hotel dog. Best Spaghetti Bolognaise ever! Kids enjoyed the pool. Lots of relaxation space and fabulous roof terrace for sunbathing.

We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to our intended locations to visit of Ypres and Ploegsteert. Whilst at the hotel the owners gave us every help and advice as to where else to visit should time permit. The hotel is very clean with spacious bedrooms, a very good continental breakfast and more than adequate evening meal. Mention... More

We arrived very late but were welcomed warmly and someone accompanied us to our rooms. We told our host that we will need to leave at 7am the next day, so we would miss breakfast - which is from 8-9.30am. He told us that he might be able to give us a breakfast bag. And yes, the next morning, around... More

An excellent and wonderful place to stay. Myself and my two friends have stayed here several times while visiting the battlefields and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the swimming pool is first class. The triple room is always very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended and will be going there again.

This is a very quiet modern Hotel on the French Belgium border. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The outlook through the large windows was lovely and calming.no noise we had a comfortable bed and 2 good nights sleep.Food fairly good continental.I thought the lady in charge seemed a little stressed at times a little abrupt but maybe the language difference... I have stayed here a couple of times now en route to the ferry crossings. On the upside, the rooms are modern, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The hotel is very quiet and a good night's sleep is pretty much guaranteed. Unlike others here, I think the hotel actually has a good location with plenty of parking if have a... More

We stayed here before the Pool was put in , and whilst the rooms are good and the local area pleasent , there is nowhere to walk in the evening so unless you have a none drinking driver it's a bit out of the way.We got the owner to take us into Ypres at a cost of 60 euros (there... More

We were unable to address our consideration with reference the unique qualities of this hotel, due to the owners attitude, we arrived at approx 8pm and were requested to pay for our room up front, which we duly did, this was a first for me, myself and my colleague were shown to our room, i personally considered the accommodation to... As you will be in no doubt, we are not in the least surprised by any of your caustic comments. From the moment you arrived at reception to check-in, confrontation seemed to be the order of the day and this is summed up in your ,somewhat, badly worded comments from the outset. We can all find fault with something or... More
