The Fief is a good value hotel. In a lovely location in the Ardennes, it has a large car park tucked away behind the hotel which sits in a commanding position overlooking the river. My room was clean and basic; nothing impressive and I thought good value for money given the location and price. However, the standard of room was at odds with the very impressive restaurant and food! The menu delivered choice and the food was all excellent and accompanied by great, personal service and an extensive wine list. Dinner was fabulous! I was on a motorbike - the parking area was large and tucked away from the road and not overlooked. The surface was compacted gravel so fine for all bike types.

Excellent hotel, run by a family with extended and excellent breakfast and an extensive Christmas Eve menu with music, dance, ... The rooms are renewed, parking space in the front and back. View on the Semois, located in a cosy village.

We made a reservation in this hotel with a gift voucher from Bongo. Our stay was for 2 nights together with our 2 kids (4 & 7) and our dog. The family room we had was everything we needed, big enough and very clean, the bathroom is a bit small but it will do the job. All the staff are very friendly and helpfull. Parking is also free and their is enough place. Breakfast was in a buffet and they have everything you need or want. I would recommand this place, we will go back to enjoy the area.

I was looking for a convenient and nice hotel in this region to stay for a couple of days to get some work done together with my colleagues from work. We stayed with five people for two nights. The rooms were a bit small but had everything you really need: - a good bed - bathroom (bath or shower) - storage place - a small desk - television - FREE wireless internet ! The hotel also has a very pleasant orangerie were we had our apperitives... What makes this hotel a pleasant surprise however is the FOOD ! The rooms come complete with break fast and dinner. The break fast is good but dinner really is excellent: soup, starter, entree (main dish), cheese, dessert and coffee. We thought that we had booked a gastronomic weekend by mistake, but no this was just a regular evening meal ! If you want to combine enjoying the nature of the Ardennes with very good Belgian food (at very reasonable prices !!), then this hotel is te place to be.

The hotel is located by the river "Semois" just outside a small village with a typical belgian pub and some other amenities. The rooms are kind of smallish and the hallways dark and dated. The whole place was clean and well organized. Diner was superb with a wine arrangement that seemed beyond limit. Breakfast was well stocked and enjoyable aswel. We went hiking and canoeing and the scenery is superb. A visit over to the french city of Sedan to stock up in a Hypermarche.
