The building is well over its use-by date, and so is the interior. The staff looked uninterested and did not care much about the well-being of their guests and their appearance was very much in line with this.

The hotel website is somewhat misleading..it may look charming but certainly isn't totally refurbished as claimed. Stuck somewhere back in time, the place needs demolishing or gutting to properly refurbish it. Ancient rooms with decades or even centuries of wear and tear, hideous old furnishings, windows from the 19th century adorned with spiders nests & webs aplenty. Musty, hot rooms...
