We've been coming here since 2004, mostly for meals but we stayed here for a weekend in May (to attend the 6h endurance race at Spa). Our large room was recently renovated (nice bathroom!). This is not a modern style hotel, but old and with lots of character -- it has been owned by the same family since the 1700s.... More

we came here for three nights, my husband was competing in a local sports event. The staff could not be better, so accommodating and friendly. Our room was super, the weather was cold but the room was warm. I don't know the lady's name who was in charge but she was charming and I didn't get the chance to say... More

The hotel is located only a short drive from the highway. All is old except the bathroom that is brand new and really super de luxe. We had diner in the restaurant and the food is excellent but rather expensive. The hotel tried to charge us 5 € more for the night than had been confirmed via internet.

An older style hotel, but with sigs of recent investment in the bedrooms. The public areas were a little tired though. Staff were friendly and helpful though a little overworked at the busy spells in the restaurant (which appeared very popular). Breakfast offered a limited selection, but the bread was extremely fresh and tasty and service very cheerful. Overall the... More

It is a cozy family hotel -- has been in the same family for generations -- so don't expect a modern hotel, because it is an old and characterful building. The restaurant is very good (the true gem of the hotel): excellent local/French cooking. The terrace outside is really good in summer, and very popular with a range of visitors.... More

This hotel is a great place for slowing down and relaxing. Not the international standardized approach, but a cosy family hotel, while offering all modern comfort. The kind of traditional Ardenese hotels that tends to disappear. We where told this is the 8th generation of the Family Bonhomme, who recently took over. They invested in the renovation of the bath-... More

We used the hotel as a base for the Belgium Grand Prix. The location is good with the car journey to the track taking 30 mins. (Take your Sat Nav) We had a front facing room and there is some road noise as the hotel is on a road junction. The room we had was basic and reminiscent of a... More

The building is well over its use-by date, and so is the interior. The staff looked uninterested and did not care much about the well-being of their guests and their appearance was very much in line with this. The food in the restaurant was large and by ok, but serving it took ages. After having arrived at 19.30, the table... More

The hotel website is somewhat misleading..it may look charming but certainly isn't totally refurbished as claimed. Stuck somewhere back in time, the place needs demolishing or gutting to properly refurbish it. Ancient rooms with decades or even centuries of wear and tear, hideous old furnishings, windows from the 19th century adorned with spiders nests & webs aplenty. Musty, hot rooms... More
