Difficult to describe; its charming outside, nice garden and lake, but as soon as you get inside then you have like the impression is more an old age home, the room are really old as well the facility, the Wi Fi has problem, difficult to find a plug to recharge laptop or mobile, TV with only with few local channels.... A really nice hotel in the shape of a castle with all the necessary details, surroundings, aspects a castle should have. The rooms are very comfortable and you have space enough. The bathroom is in old style, but that's why you are in a castle and it's useless to expect modern fittings and furniture. Breakfast is really rich, French style.... More

As I was going to spend two days on the SIAL Foodshow, I decided to book a hotel north of the event instead of downtown Paris. That turned out to be a good decision. Traffic that way is much better and the hotel provided the serenity I was looking for after a busy and hectic day. Despite quite some negative... More

When we arrived I asked if we could have a room with two separate beds since the double beds in the classic rooms are very small. The receptionist told us it wasn't available so we booked an extra room. When I arrived at the room we noticed it had two separate beds. So they just wanted us to book an... More

The scenery of the hotel was very nice. With a little love and simple things this could be a amazing hotel. I booked the suite. Tap of the shower was not working so a cold shower to wake up. Toilet seat was broken, wifi was not working. Bed was good. Breakfast was poor, no eggs, no cheese, 17 euro I... More

We recently stayed at the Chateau which is gorgeous from the outside provided you don't look up at the temporary roof. We expected the hotel to be dated after all its old and we expected things to be a bit wonky and out of date but we were quite prepared for how unloved it looked and felt inside. I appreciate... This is a charming chateau completely surrounded by a moat that leads onto a landscaped lake. Beautiful facade right in the middle of its own village. I agree with other reviewers that it is faded gentility, but comfortable and quiet and modernisation does not necessarily change things for the better. The delightful staff could not have been more helpful -... More

An efficient conference facility - with character. Kitchen and menu is classic and tasty. Helpful staff. 20 Minutes from Charles de Gaulle it makes for efficient conferencing. There is a pitoresque village at walking distance. Being a Chateau, there is a bit of an old look and feel. Plenty of opportunity for long walks and cycles. It was very warm... More

Located at 56 km from the center of Paris and Around 25 km from CDG. It's a beautiful building, I understood protected by Unesco. Full Stop. All the rest, from the hotel point of view is a nightmare. Rooms are all very old with uncomfortable bed, very poor bathrooms and old furnitures. Micro TV with a very bed reception. Old... More

Ermenonville is a quiet and picturesque village just north of Paris and with easy access to the airport. The chateau is situated in a park area that cuts the village in two. The area is very tranquil and scenic...a big change from the hustle and bustle of nearby Paris. The rooms are large, and our room looked out over the... More
