The Chateau Ermenonville is situated about 25 km to the east of Aeroport Charles de Gaulle, providing easy access to the airport, avoiding all the traffic coming north from Paris on the A1 Autoroute. This is one reason that we often stay at the Chateau on the night before our departure home. The other is that it is a charming,... More

This hotel is very deceiving. The outside just beautiful a little jewel surrounded by water. The inside OMG that was an other story a little room underneath the roof. No space, no air conditioning, all furniture were outdated but no style. Bathroom was small but in good working order. Electric point had exposed wire. This is not the experience We... More

This should be a five star experience but disappointingly was not. Poorly maintained property and grounds, unable to provide dinner "we are fully booked" . Convienent to CDG is its positive attribute. I guess my sadness is driven by what should have been but was not with this most attractive hotel.

Everything in this place is romantic and thoughtful. We had great meals, wondeful views and quality customer service. Our room was in tower, for me was the dream come true. Not about luxury but history. Recommended!

The chateau and the countryside are beautiful. As a hotel it lacks quite a few services and it could do with a revamp. The wifi quality is very poor. The staff are nice and attentive. It is still quite a nice place for a good price. The village is quite charming so I recommend the place despite of the shabbiness. It... More

Beautiful ambience as an 1800,s hotel with a beautiful setting. For the traveller that expects more ammenities BEWARE. No real amenities, poor room wifi, warm sticky rooms in hot temps28+ Bathrooms are ok , but no shower stalls in superior room, hand held only. A must stay for the experience, but do not expect much in comfort.

Leave the highway between Brussels and Paris at Ermenonville and cross the forest and here it is, a beautiful castle many times remodeled and still breathtaking in a shrine of woods, lakes, meadows and history. The restaurant "La table du poète" is supposed to be excellent but it was already fully booked.

Difficult to describe; its charming outside, nice garden and lake, but as soon as you get inside then you have like the impression is more an old age home, the room are really old as well the facility, the Wi Fi has problem, difficult to find a plug to recharge laptop or mobile, TV with only with few local channels.... A really nice hotel in the shape of a castle with all the necessary details, surroundings, aspects a castle should have. The rooms are very comfortable and you have space enough. The bathroom is in old style, but that's why you are in a castle and it's useless to expect modern fittings and furniture. Breakfast is really rich, French style.... More

As I was going to spend two days on the SIAL Foodshow, I decided to book a hotel north of the event instead of downtown Paris. That turned out to be a good decision. Traffic that way is much better and the hotel provided the serenity I was looking for after a busy and hectic day. Despite quite some negative... More
