My wife and I had a very pleasant stay for one week in August 2005 in this hotel. So, we were very interested to find out whether it would, in 2014, still live up to our standards. In preparation of the trip, we looked up TripAdvisor, to find the surprising statement that "there are no hotels in La Plaine sur... More

We have read the 'Relais & Chateaux guide' before going so we knew the hotel was a modern one. We chose the room & dinner with wine pairing & breakfast package. We were offered a comfortable room with sea view with modern & well-designed furniture. We especially loved the sofa! For dinner, the course was already chosen for us with... More

Dear Madam, Thank you for your nice comment! We are very pleased to see that you had a great time with us. For the wine pairing, we do understand your dispointment if you were expecting only 'real French wine'. We seek to share with our guests wine and alcohols discoveries from local wine producers as well as from all around... More

We stayed here for a Saturday and Sunday in mid July. The weather was extremely hot. Our room was very well appointed and with great views to the sea and a large balcony. When shown to the room, it was extremely hot inside - not surprising as there was a lot of glass, patio type doors and so on. In... More

Very nice hotel, good staff and a nice restaurant which was completely spoiled by the pantomime enacted over the wine service. I asked for a particular wine and the young male sommelier suggested a more expensive bottle. I stuck to my original choice and when it arrived it was served with sarcasm and eye rolling. My wife was so discomfited... More

Dear Guest, We thank you for taking the time to share your impressions and we are happy to read that, overall, you enjoyed the house, the staff and the cuisine. However, we have also seen how disappointed you have been by the wine service and we really feel sorry about it. Indeed, we wish to share passion and pleasure with... More

We stayed there for the night. Nice clean rooms with pieces of great modern furniture but more like a business hotel than R&C. I expect R&C standard (like in in Cancale) than a nice business type hotel ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We dined at the restaurant with my younger son. The food was very good and... More

We chose to stay here because the chef was master cuisiniere. The first 2 meals we had were delightful prestarter of oysters 3 ways plus oyster ice cream was exceptional. Sadly our 3rd meal was marred by very poor service. Arriving at 19.30 & starter not appearing until almost 21.00 is not acceptable. The very young waiters lacked coordination mummbled... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. It is in a beautiful quiet position above a small port. There is very little else in the vicinity, other than the sea, birds and wonderful coastal paths to walk. If you want night life and restaurants, this is not the place to be. Our room was modern, clean, comfortable with a... More

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night with the highlight to have dinner at the restaurant (2 Michelin stars). We like to eat at restaurants with Michelin stars but this restaurant does not even deserve 1 Michelin star. During the whole dinner we had 1 amuse which is unacceptable. The sommelier explains the wine after you drink it and... More

This hotel is clean. The staff are very happy to help you with questions. Rooms are clean and tidy. Felt safe in this hotel. Two minute walk from the train station and from the main tourist area. Good value for the price.

We stayed at the hotel Anne de Bretagne during Pentecost. The booking was made weeks before. We arrived at 4pm. The receptionist was really nice, enough parking spaces, so far, so good. While checking-in another lady asked us if we want to have dinner at 7.30pm, 9.15pm or 9.30pm. I was honestly thinking that this is a joke. These questions... More
