If you want to get away from the hubbub, the confusion and the entire century, and be treated like a lord in elegance, splendor and yet simplicity- this is the place for you. The family is warm and welcoming and expert at making you feel at home. A serene, beautiful experience.

We had no problem finding the Chateau though you need to be vigilant on the look out as the sign is small. Chateau de Vauloge is delightful - the grounds, the moat, the reception rooms and our bedroom were all charming. We did manage a delightful walk around the grounds. Nothing was too much trouble to see to our needs.... More

We spent four wonderful, peaceful evenings at Chateau de Vauloge, touring the French countryside by day, and returning to a very well maintained and well managed chateau each evening. The property is owned by a very friendly and warm Italian family, the rooms are very large and comfortable, a very nice breakfast was provided each morning, and we optionally chose... More

Though somewhat difficult to find the Chateau is, if anything, even more spectacular and charming than the impression from the website. It is set in countryside, far away from anywhere with a moat, outhouse, a walled garden, chickens, sheep and its own forest! The chateau is a very intimate place with service provided by the owners and family, including a... More

We stayed at the chateau during our visit to the Le Mans Classic - here are my thoughts. Ideal location, the most convenient of the three châteaux we have stayed at while visiting Le Mans. It is close to a couple of small villages for restaurants and about 25km from the track, say 30 minutes drive depending on traffic. Our... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your message with many compliments and few critics! I'm really sorry you couldn't watch on the TV Wimbledon tennis matches, but 99,99% of our guests don't even turn the TV on during their stay. Maybe, we can follow your suggestion by subscribing to a sport channel during certain sports events. Wine is on offer at... More

We arrived later in the day, around 7:00 pm and were awestruck by the beautiful pictureque setting of the Chateau de Vauloge. The grounds were well maintained with swams swimming in the moat, and cattle grazing in the pasture. It was enchanting. We were warmly greeted by the owners who showed us to our rooms beautiful, near period correct with... More

Le Chateau de Vaulage was a random selection due to its proximity to Le Mans and the Sarthe valley. We were not sure if it would be too "stuffy" for a 12 year old boy but instead found the welcome to be down to earth, friendly and most accommodating. Micol and Marisa went to great lengths to meet our requests... More

My husband and I were in France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We wanted to stay somewhere with a bit more charm than the hotel we had stayed in previously. What a wonderful find this chateau was! Micol and Marissa were fabulous hosts. Breakfasts in the dining room were delightful and our one dinner at the chateau was... More

Micol and Marissa are divine hostesses who can do no wrong for ther guests. The Chateau makes you feel as though you are a privileged guest in a beautiful home - complete with a moat! We have stayed here many, many times, and feel stress draining as we drive along the fantastic entrance driveway. It is truly relaxing - no... More

The rooms are beautifully appointed and the owners are extremely hospitable and kind. It was a wonderful experience to stay at Vauloge, extremely relaxing and luxurious at the same time. You really escape to a different time.
