Been staying here off and on for more than 20 years which must indicate how much we like it. The Feutry family who run this hotel are a pleasure to know and can't do enough to make you feel welcome. There is a huge area for parking at the rear of the hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and... More

Brilliant hidden getaway although plenty of Brits who thought the same. Basic room but comfy bed, huge bath, plenty of hot water and if you really miss home some sky channels too. But the real gem is the extremely friendly family that run this hotel and the fantastic restaurant with superb food. Although nothing to see in the village I... More

Based on recommendations we visited last weekend (Bank Holiday). Can't say enough good things. Not to be missed (although should give a bad review and keep availability for our next visit..!) The rooms are immaculate (and recently refurbished) - we had a four poster with vast space overlooking for front gardens. The hotel is warm, welcoming and friednly with excellent... More

Enjoyed a short break here on half board. The bedroom was comfortable and traditional with a very modern shower room, and tv with many channels including a few from the UK. The restaurant is quite large with the kitchen on view behind a picture window. The food was fantastic, especially the gourmet menu, although all the menus had interesting choices,... More

Le Wast is only 16 km from Boulogne, and handy for the A16 motorway. This is a very handy place to stay for an overnight shopping trip across the channel. The hotel is a rather quirky mix of old and new, which we rather liked. The rooms are comfortable, but had no tea making facilities. Our room had a bath... More

Visited with friends as a quick trip over to France, with shopping thrown in. Hotel is close enough to Calais to make it easy enough to travel there. Staff spoke reasonable English and with our french we got by very well. I guess those used to the amenities of English hotels would comment on the lack of tea/coffee making facilities,... More

Our party of six friends had a super night at Chateau des Tourelles in le Wast. From our very warm welcome, through an excellent dinner, and a good night's sleep in our comfortable rooms, to a leisurely breakfast (prior to some heavy duty shopping), this was just what was needed to cheer up dreary February. This was our third visit... More

We have not been away for Christmas before but have spent time at this delightful hotel on several occasions. This year we decided to spend Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day away and had a really lovely time. Nothing was too much trouble for the really friendly staff and we had superb meals, including 7 courses on Christmas Eve.... More

The hotel is run by a lovely family who are very welcoming. We have stayed here before and it is excellent value for money. Book directly as very good English is spoken. Rooms are large and comfortable. The food is first class.

We had a fabulous time. Excellent service, great menu and presentation, a great venue in a small village, to celebrate anything. We've been going 15 years now and love the place. Run by a lovely French family who take pride in all they do. Just love going back there. It's clearly very popular with English and French alike. Every course... More
