Just returned from our second visit to this hotel. We were recognised and given another very warm welcome. We booked a suite for ourselves - "Dauphine", as all the rooms are given names of regions in France rather than numbers - on the top floor and very quiet - well appointed with a separate sitting area and plenty of room,... We were very impressed by the food and the service at this restaurant. We stayed in a nearby chambre d'hôte and it was recommended. We had a pre dinner drink in the lounge with nibbles and then had a lovely three course meal with fresh and beautifully cooked ingredients; we had the fish and the duck for mains. The dessert... Continues to deliver at the highest level, very welcoming hosts and staff, in a very tranquil and peaceful setting 35 mins from the Channel Tunnel with easy access to Calais, Dunkirk and St Omer. Bea and Phillipe never sit on their laurels and have continued to improve and upgrade the rooms over the years with the suites in particular being... More

One of our most enjoyable French trips has been to Hostellerie St. Louis,so after a gap of 1 year, we revisited. And from arrival to departure, the whole experience is a class act. A beautiful building, elegant dining salons and spacious bedrooms, and best of all, the food. Our Menu Gourmet started with hare terrine for my wife and a beautiful seafood... More

This was our first stay here but it certainly won't be the last! Following a very warm welcome we went to our room which was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Dinner was outstanding, beautifully prepared and cooked, with very attentive service. There was also a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The hotel is quietly situated and following a... More

Used as overnight stop en route for channel tunnel. Nice, large room with great bathroom. The food however is the reason to get off the autoroute and away from the usual overnight stops. This is French cuisine at its best. Go enjoy.

This was our 2nd trip to this hotel and we took friends with us this time. We were the 1st guests immediately after their 2 week January break (the owners holiday after Christmas and before the season starts). It was a little chilly but soon warmed up. We were upgraded to superior rooms and enjoyed wonderful food over our 2... More

this is well worth a visit provided you do not mind somewhat dated rooms. It's a very quiet hotel Great value for money. The meals though are worth everything as here you will enjoy a gourmet experience which is totally at variance with the rooms. The food is outstanding--go and enjoy!

We have stayed here several times as a first or last stop-over when traveling to Italy. Owner managed it has nice but functional rooms and an exceptional restaurant. They normally have a short tourist menu at around €25 and having sampled it many times it is very good. This is not available on Saturdays so we went for the €36... More
