We spent 3 nights here on a tour of the area in August and we just happened to arrive right in the middle of the town festival. A really pleasant surprise since everything was in walking distance and very typical French Country. Even the fireworks were probably as close as one could get. We spent 3 days exploring the GR... Booked by booking.com pictures looked promising. I phoned to alert we would arrive 10 minutes after closing but was assured she would wait which was much appreciated The rooms were on ground floor and pokey is a good description- bathroom didn't inspire me either. bed was uncomfortable and everything about the room was disappointing. Coffee machine but no coffee small... More

We got 2 rooms - one - on 1st floor - was OK but the other that was on the ground floor was .extremely small to the point that you felt a bit of suffocation.. The staff was service oriented and willing to help and they found us another room on the 1st floor, after moving the situation has improved... More

To begin with: we stayed 2 days and our room had a paris hotel room dimensions - small and cramped (there were other rooms that were larger and we ordered the room 2 months in advance). The first evening we wanted instead of a entrée, a salad. This was never a problem in our many visits to France, even when... More

Arrived for an overnight in middle of massive summer thunderstorm....storm passed but electricity in area had been knocked out....very friendly and philosophical service....given option at dinner of cold meal or wait in hope for return of power...opted for latter and drank wine meantime....fortunately and eventually power restored and kitchen in working order so had a delightful dinner with more wine... A very nice hotel, a very warm welcome from all the staff. The room was clean and tidy, bathroom good, but the room had a musty smell which was off putting. The menu was expensive, and seemed over the top for the hotel. However, the restaurant was very nice and the menu and quality, of the meal was excellent. As... More

Very pleasant outside terrace. Food excellent. service really slow. We were a party of 11 of which 5 were children 1 of which was 2 years of age, we had to wait 90 minutes for our meals. Lucky for us the 2 year old was very well behaved.

looked forward to this as had read about it as " traditional dining recommended" . the terrace dining is nice on warm evening, menu good. For us the whole experience was ruined by management reaction to genuine complaint. when i mentioned i found a hair in main course i was told " no one working here has hair that colour".

Beautiful building in the main square.Bedrooms are clean but small and basic. The restaurant is excellent with an adventurous chef.Fixed price menu 28 euros and a good wine list, local Cahors wine is generally reliable. When warm you eat on the terrace which is lovely.Staff very friendly and helpful.Don't go if you are a vegetarian ,in fact avoid this area all together as... Stayed nearby in a gite (Les Rocques- Brilliant). Had dinner here the last night. It's a good job we didn't come earlier or we would have spent most of our time here! Brilliant food and lovely atmosphere. we ate out on the terrace on a warm evening. Full so need to book. Lovely warm stone village
