I chose this hotel based on other reviews. The hotel is situated on a totally ordinary commercial stretch of road about 5 km from Salamanca, perhaps a 15 minute ride into town. Very old hotel, must have been rated 4 stars 30 years ago! Furniture is old and equipment broken, bad sound isolation, pools are shared by people on some camping there, food is bad and little variety, you get internet for free but they disconnect the network on purpose if your using for more than half an hour even at late... This Hotel is 4 KM from Salamanca and is 1 km from nearest town (Santa Marta) which closes at 8:30.Not exactly 4 star but clean. We were stuck here on our tour. Better be real cheap to want to stay here though they have free parking.Better to stay IN Salamanca Proper.Steve More
