We had to spend one night in the region and were looking at the last minute for an hotel. Don't expect anything luxury but it is clean and well maintained. The two menagers are very pleasant and friendly Have in mind the bell of the church doesn't stop at night :=)

situated in the centre of St. Jean du Gard in an old silk mill, this hotel ticks all the boxes for a stop-over. I have not stayed more than one night, but was very happy with the facilities provided, and the price was correct. Clean, quiet and restful.

My wife and I stayed here for a week at the end of August/beginning of September. The two owners are both very accomodating and the the bedrooms and public area were spottlessly clean. A very decent continental breakfast was served, each table being thoroughly cleaned before new guests took their place. We had a room overlooking the garden and swimming... More

The owners of this hotel do their very best to help their guests and make them feel comfortable. They create a family-like, family-friendly, peaceful, restful and calm atmosphere. The pool is a definite plus as is the calm yet central location. The hotel is clean and friendly and simple and relaxed. Breakfast service is very slow though... which is ok... More

After the debacle of the Hotel du Peras, we found this little gem of a hotel in the heart of St Jean du Gard. No effort was too much, Room was clean and light. We left our luggage in the lobby to go for a little train ride on the local steam train (recommended) to visit Anduze and the Bamboo... More

It's rare to find such a peaceful in the location in the centre of a town. The public areas and our room were absolutely spotless, and the garden is lovely for relaxing on a fine day. Our room looked out over the garden and swimming pool, and was very comfortable and quiet. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive, and... More

We stayed for a week at Les Bellugues and on arrival were immediately made to feel welcome by Pascal who explained the hotel to us and advised us where to eat that Monday evening, when a number of restaurants were shut. Les Bellugues has been created in one of the last silk spinning “filatures” of which there were once some... More

This is a lovely hotel situated right in the centre of town, yet in a haven of quiet. The new owners make each individual feel right at home, and were helpful well beyond the call of duty to us. The décor is very simple but functional. (The only "warning" I would mention to future travelers is to sit down for... More

My wife and I rented a house on the Gardon River just outside Saint-Jean-du-Gard several years ago when we were traveling with our two sons. This time we were on our way from Switzerland to Carcassone and wanted to revisit Saint-Jean. The hotel owners were most gracious and the pool was absolutely fantastic. The car park was close and convenient... More

The new owners are welcoming, personal and helpful. Rooms are small and simple, but great for families, bunkbeds for the kids. The location in the center of town couldn't be better, yet quiet and calm with a lovely garden and great swimming pool. Free wifi. Thanks to Yves and Pascal for a great three day stay in the Cevennes.
