This is a lovely hotel in a very sensitively restored traditional building. The rooms are super comfy, the communal areas tasteful but still homely (a rare trick to pull off). There is a very small but appealing looking pool, which was sadly closed as it was out of season when we stayed, but still looked inviting. The staff were really... More

The hotel fulfills the basic needs. The setting is very strange with the remains of a building that has been demolished, makes a good place to park your car. A short walk to the townsquare and a longer walk to the beach, about 20 minutes. The man at the reception gave us a very good guide to all the things... More

What a find this hotel is, in the centre of Sanlucar, and about half way between the Racecourse and the restaurants at the ferry end. The Hotel is modern but holds very interesting archives in the Bar area. The area around the hotel doesn't look brilliant and parking isn't always easy but the hotel it's self is lovely. The staff... We enjoyed our stay at this very pleasant recently converted hotel - an intriguing blend of very modern hotel in the shell of an old palace including an impressive central patio. Unlike some other reports here our rooms were absolutely quiet (overlooking the pool). Staff were friendly and helpful and negotiated tickets (at cost price) for a trip to the... More

Beautiful hotel and rooms, but our experience was ruined by the noise, both the street noise and the noise from inside. It is as if the door of the room stays open. Something must be wrong with the insulation. The same with the windows towards the street. You discover they are closed when you open them and notice the noise... More

We adored the way they restored an old building with the love for history. It is more a cultural investment rather than a commercial investment.... Rooms are beautiful with love for the old building in every detail. Walking distance to the old town where you can eat all drink all day. Utterly friendly staff at reception who gave us the... More

This has got to be the phantom hotel of this dull seaside town...the address for this hotel doesn't exist on the sat nav so after a 90 minute search we were eventually escorted there by a local man on his scooter, set off the main road in really dusty car park/building site...the receptionist said it was "a continuing problem" ....good... It's true - do not judge this hotel by the exterior photos. The staff are so helpful, friendly - nothing too much trouble. Rooms are a wonderful combination of the old character and modern comfort. We so enjoyed our two nights and hope to return soon. I had not heard of the Abba chain of hotels but on the basis... More

having had done the reservation for this hotel prior to read through the comments I admit that arriving there I first thought this must be a bad joke.... BUT after a very warm welcome we Discovered our wonderfull Junior suite room in the old building. Nithing to complain at all about a wonderfull combination between modern and tradition. only the... We stayed here in January just looking for a cheap escape (cheap prices in winter) and it is a beautiful building. Some of the changes are quite surprising but stunning. We were upgraded by the very friendly staff on front desk (really helpful, encouraged my spanish (first time I've ever had someone suffer through the whole check-in process without resorting... More
