We had a great stay in this "renaissance-like" villa B&B in Appiano Gentile. Location is ideal for us when traveling to the middle/south of Italy. The setting is quiet & peaceful but stil quite near highway A9. The rooms are nice and comfortable. So is the bathroom. Wifi and Sat-TV are both available for free. The breakfast buffet was extensive... More

Beautiful and very special property, well kept with a lot of attention to details. Neatly renovated rooms, amazing breakfast with excellent homemade bread and jams. Charming and elegant hostess. We were however not impressed by the town itself. The rooms are relatively small, with very high ceilings and pretty furniture.

Located not far from the highway, between Como and Milano, this place is very convenient for a stopover if you are traveling a long way, or if it is a brief stay (for example to do some shopping in Milano area, like in our case). The town is pretty and so nicely Italian! The villa has a lot of charm... More

Villa Cavadini has an understated elegance run by a charming and helpful hostess. The building with its tasteful decor and relaxing environs speak of a sophistication from a previous era. The lovingly prepared breakfast, comprising of a magnificent spread of homemade jams, breads and cakes is of an exceptional standard and complimented by the breakfast room which overlooks the tranquil... Wonderfull old Villa, Rooms may be a little small, but nonetheless have everything you need. As we were only spending the nights there and went out to adventure Lago di Como, this didnt bother us. Elisabetta is an awesome, friendly and very welcoming host. The breakfast is good for Italian standards, highlights definately are the homemade bread and cakes. We... More

Elisabetta & Roberto were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming and kind. They were so shocked that we had come to the area without a car but the bus goes from the town square to como every hour and is very efficient. Appiano Gentile has a lovely square and some great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this... More

The villa is perfectly located and have a very good advertising. Unfortunately not all information presented in booking.com is really valid. Please do not expect to see / use all facilities presented on photos and enjoy comfort of 4/5-star hotel. It's just a small B&B with 4 rooms, one coridor and perfect audibility. If you are lucky you can have... More

I really enjoy the place - cosy palazzo, renovated with style and taste, excellent interior, backyard park, clean, comfortable, BUT, a big BUT - hospitality it's not only about accommodation - it's about friendly welcome to the property, smile, warm feelings, all these soft values - intangible, but very important! And there I found a big failure - the owner... More

I was really sad to receive such a negative review by those guests from which we have accepted various exceptions and we tried, in all possible ways, to solve all their problems. -The guests arrived with 2 dogs. Two beautiful Hungarians that we didn’t expect. My husband and I love dogs (we had an english setter for 14 years!) and... More
