My fourth visit and I'll be back again. Ideally placed for an overnight on my way to Switzerland. A welcoming patron, excellent food and a decent room. A garden with play equipment and easy parking. Unpretentious but good service. My first stay was simply because it was on my route and had free room but I've not bothered to check... More

We were travelling north, and thought the name sounded good. The town was slightly off-putting, but it was very wet. This logis does not open till 5pm, so we found a local cafe, and it was wonderful...aromatic, and good. We went back to the logis to be greeted by a cat...this cat needed its head rubbing before we were allowed... More

Myself and friends stayed one night in this lovely small hotel on our way to a ski holiday. We were treated very well and had a lovely meal in the restaurant where the food was freshly cooked and great value and the service very friendly indeed... Thoroughly recommended to all...

A discouraging start. The nearby town of Dole was disfigured by road-works, and by the time I'd shaken free of them and reached Rochefort-sur-Nenon it was starting to rain heavily, which did neither the village nor the logis any favours. It also made me regret the absence of any covered parking. I got the feel that the logis was a... More

We looked for a place to stay on our route from Italy to Luxembourg and came upon this nice little place. The owner speaks and writes English and the hotel is very local and charming. There is a large playground nearby and the restarant of the hotel is great.

A friendly, slightly old fashioned hotel, situated reasonably close to the motorway if you are driving to the alps (about 6 hours drive from Calais) and near the pretty town of Dole. It is easy to find the hotel - the village isn't big and there are good signs. Plenty of parking (unsecured) opposite the hotel. It is a Logis... More

The 'village fleuri' of Rochefort s/Nenon is situated only a few kilometres from the delightful town of Dole and sits on the edge of the impressive Foret de Chaux. This logis sits right in the middle of the village with ample parking opposite the front entrance. We were impressed from the outset with the welcome offered, by the service and... More

I like the previous reviewer, was unable to find anything in Dole and was forced to stay here. The menu I thought was expensive and didnt offer a cheaper alternative. It was either a la carte or nothing. They say they have a Menu de Terroir.....but when I asked for it they said you have to stay here minimum 3... More

Very friendly welcome by English-speaking host. Cosy, functional and very clean bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, good showers and recent redecoration. Quiet village location a kilometre away from Autoroute. Very pleasant village to walk around, especially along river/canal bank. Tasty, if a little rustic, food in welcoming restaurant - busy with locals. Reasonable food prices, also with a selection of set... More

A comfortable hotel in a quiet, pretty village with a nice outdoor restaurant. It was a welcome find as, amazingly, we couldn't find anywhere decent to stay in nearby Dole, which is supposed to be one of the great historic towns in this part of France. The only one we found, the Hotel de la Cloche, was decidedly seedy. Another,... More
