I discovered this hotel surfing on the web when looking for a long week-end in south of france near the Provence area. The proposal of the summer Jazz Lunch captured my attention and it was something "unique". The lunch was very good but the atmosphere with the jazz players in the castle garden was so fantastic that we decided to... More

I have put off writing this review for a long time as I just did not want to think about the place!!! We went on holiday to France as we do every year, visiting 3/4 resorts during the course of one week. This was the third hotel (after le Cite at Carcassonne) and truly ruined our holiday. Our first encounter... More

Living nearby, we have lunched here with friends on several occasions. Sunday lunch with jazz-band in the summer months, whilst a little expensive is simply sublime. The staff are both well trained & managed, and the catering is comfortably head-and-shoulders above all restaurants in this area.

Stayed here while on a Globus "French Sampler" tour. It was absolutely wonderful it was like being part of a fairytale! The service/staff, fabulous, the accommodations, fabulous, the food, even more fabulous, the atmosphere, fabulous. I honestly cannot think of anything about this property that I found to be a negative. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

In the middle of the Côte du Rhone vineyards stands this beautiful property where one can enjoy truly well presented, well served and simply delicious food all in an environment of a Relais & Château Establishment. It was truly exceptional. The chef's creativity mad even the simplest of dished a delight to admire and consume. Even though it may be... More

An elegant, relaxing and very beautiful relais chateau hotel, with delicious food which matched and exceeded expectations. Our host and his staff were friendly, welcoming and gracious. We especially loved the vegetables from the chateaus kitchen garden - fresh ingredients, fresh ideas and vegetables (including petit pois) that tasted as they should, not like their soulless frozen cousins. The chateau... More

The chef must own the joint, otherwise his derrière would have been tossed out with the last useless government. Le petit poi were gros and it was downhill from there. Oh, the bread was good. So a glass of champagne goes for twentyty one bucks and a coffee for ten. Check your brain at the door. Oh, the place is... More

We arrived Sunday afternoon to the magical Jazz band and were then enchanted for the remainder of our week.. Nothing too much trouble for our hosts or the staff. Food was terrific if not a little sophisticated for our simple palates, but already we talk about returning. Thank you Rudy, we appreciated what is a lifetimes vocation for you.

My friend got married at Chateau de Montcaud, so it was the deciding factor on where to stay. The hotel provided a special discount for wedding guests as long as we booked by a certain date. I was traveling with a friend and we checked into the hotel the day of the wedding, along with the bride and groom and... More

The grounds are magnificent and the ambience is welcoming, with all members of the staff playing a part to ensure the guests are well looked after. We found it expensive in comparison to what we could enjoy in the relative nearby quality hotels, accordingly we checked out after one night. The breakfast we also considered expensive, especially so as we... More
