This is an exquisite small luxury hotel, set amidst a collection of small buildings as a small estate/farm. We didn't want to leave after our one night here... truly relaxing, private, secluded and high quality of service thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in the hotel and gourmet restaurant. Location: In the heart of Provence, with the arid hills... More

Last night we had an amazing dinner at the restaurant. Since we live close by, there was no reason to spend the night. But let me go back to dinner. The menu is very small which helps. The following menu was in play: ENTREES: Tarte fine aux oignons confits, Filets de Rougets marinés Terrine de Foie Gras à l’Armagnac, Toasts... More

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed... stunning location, surrounded by olive groves, fig trees, cypress trees... beautiful rooms, with gorgeous tones and fabrics and textures... stone, wood, linens... amazing bathroom, lovely balcony with views... delicious food, beautifully presented. I was attending a wedding photography workshop at Le Hameau and stayed there as well, the staff were... More

Dinner at Hameau des Baux was a disappointment. We waited almost two hours for our main course. At one point no one on the terrace had food. The people at the next table left in anger after their starter because they couldn't stand the wait. When our main courses finally arrived, they were certainly not worth waiting for. Grizzly, tasteless... More

Dear Victoria, We thank you for the message you posted - we feel extremely concerned by the so sad inconvenience you experienced when you came to dinner at Le Hameau des Baux this week. For sure we encountered an internal problem which unfortunately did have consequences on the service as you could see; Our main goal is to make sure... More

My wife and I had a memorable time at this hotel last week. The rooms are very cozy, well arranged and have small balconies. Its remote location gives a scene of deep tranquility, at day like at night, which is very resting and peaceful. The property it self is gorgeous and very well maintained. Typical Provencal atmosphere. We ate at... More

We privatised the hotel at the end of September 2012 for our wedding. We initially loved the place - it has so much potential. Charming rooms, great location. Carol, the person I was dealing with promised that as this was our wedding they would do everything as we liked, that they were completely flexible and that their aim was to... More

Suites were large and comfortable - i.e. nice sitting area, mini refrig., ok patio, but the overall experience was not at all 4star as the hotel claims to be. Grounds maintenance and upkeep were nonexistent; minimally staffed hotel, breakfast for 20Euros pp was very overpriced.

We privatised the hotel Le Hameau des Baux end of June 2012 for our wedding and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel in Le Paradou is very nicely located between olive trees, limestone and lavender just a couple of minutes away from Les Baux de Provence and Mausanne. There are 20 different rooms/suites each individually styled in typical provencal... More

Rooms are nice enough, if expensive (it is possible to find 5 star accomodation for these prices, instead of 4). The kitchen is a disgrace though, there's no other word for it. I've seen it described as 'inedible' on TripAdvisor and I'm afraid I have to agree. Apparently when the hotel first started, they had a decent cook, but he... More

The property and rooms are very beautiful, a recreation of a Provencal village but the service , restaurant and price do not correspond at all! I had a much better time at a two star Hotel de Provence in Tarrascon. The restaurant service was the worst I ever had, after spending all day outdoors I was looking forward to a... More
