We had two nights at La Maison in August 2010 because our favourite 'maison d'hôtes' in the area was fully booked. We enjoyed the hotel, the restaurant and the pool very much but with a few hickups. When we booked the only availabilty was a 'suite' for €270. Very steep for the room we got! While charming on two floors,... More

Stayed at hotel while in France but luckly for only one night. The Hotel could be lovely if only it was cleaned!!!. We had a chipped bath, no plug in bath, empty tissue boxes, smelly towels, handles missing off furniture, air con also did not work, I could go on!!!! But very pleased we were only there for one night... More

In almost a month’s stay in the south of France this turned out to be our favorite place. It manages somehow to combine a casual provincial ambiance with flair and elegance and just a touch of shabby gentility. The landscaping could use a bit more maintenance, for example. But in a very French way the most attention and energy goes... More

We stayed here for two nights in May. Pleasant setting however the general state of the hotel is not good. The terrace where one could sit to enjoy the view of the valley is run-down and dirty and there is a constant smell of sewage lingering annoyingly in the air which takes the enjoyment out of the experience. We were... More

We looked forward to our stay at La Maison and expected to spend money on a luxury stay. Sadly we found a small hotel which was rather tired and where standards had slipped since the last glowing review on this web site two years ago. The bedroom and lavatory had doors which would not open and close fully without jamming,... More

My wife and I stayed at La Maison for 3 nights during our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. La Maison is located 20 mins drive from Avignon Airport, 30 mins drive from Avignon TGV and 5 mins drive from St Remy de Provence. It is not so much a hotel as a world class restaurant with a number... More

This is a truly amazing hotel. Quirky in the rooms, yes, but with a degree of professionalism that is not overbearing but subtly ever present. The grounds were wonderful, the pool excellent but the food and wine was to die for. We had chosen la Maison to be away from the fireworkson the quatorze Juillet as our dog was with... More

Couldn't have been more pleased about our stay at the Maison de Bournissac. Beautiful property with a great restaurant. The only slight disappointment was that the pool was not open on a very hot day which is a mild niggle for us when we are paying full price and not all the facilities are available. However the restaurant was outstanding... More

We have just returned from a three night stay at the Domaine de Bournissac. It is about 10km north of St Remy, with rooms looking out over the Luberon hills. At night, it is illuminated and its red, white and blue can be seen from the road as you approach. All the rooms are named after colours. We had chosen... More

We wish we had stayed at this hotel rather than the Moulin at Graveson. Sadly we can only report on the one dinner we enjoyed. The setting for this hotel is quite breathtaking and the courtyard restaurant delightful, well worth going off the beaten track (quite literally) to reach. The food was memorable with, as one would expect. many innovative... More
