We booked a room at Hotel l'Estrella for 2 days via Booking.com. We arrived at the hotel at 21.30hrs, but there was absolutely no one present at the hotel. The reception was closed. When we called the phone number we got an automated message that the reception was closed. We asked the surrounding restaurants and some other guests if they... More

Travelled around the Cote D'Azur and spent one night here at the Esterella. Very nice large room, overlooking the sea front - balcony and comfy deckchairs. Quiet location, good bed, excellent breakfast - range of fresh fruit, meats, cheese, huge warm croissants, baguettes, cereal, yoghurt and so on. Genial host. All good here.

The hotel itself is average, the service is poor. The room was OK. It was certainly clean, nothing was broken, though it was dated and the floor was stained. Again though, it wasn't dirty, these are just old stains. There was a balcony, which was spacious and had a "sea view". Most of the sea was blocked by the building... More

A nice, quiet hotel in a relatively relaxed area. Good breakfasts, and a few good restaurants nearby. Compared to other resorts on the south coast, Agay was far more sleepy - which was a good thing! The hotel was comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, had pleasant staff and was ideally located. What more could you want?

A very nice hotel very close to the beach, and Agay is overall a very very nice place to stay. Its very calm, beautiful and not many people around. We had a seaview room with terrace - a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth the expense. There is a restaurant with great and reasonably priced steaks just nearby.

Just returned from our second trip to L'Esterella, as before everything went very well, the manager is very helpful and all the staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are well appointed with air conditioning, safe and a fridge. The seaview rooms have an electric canopy to give shade during the day if you pop back for lunch. Parking is on... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The cost was reasonable, and the location wonderful, right at the beach. Somewhat more modernization would be good, for ventilation sounds from other rooms were a bit too audible. However, the air conditioning was very effective. The breakfast was magnificent, relatively speaking, with fine cheeses, real pineapple, and superb coffee in a... More

This hotel is good value for a bed and breakfast Logis de France. The place is kept clean and tidy and the views from the front facing superior rooms with balconies on the first and second floors are excellent, although obstructed a little by the Happy Days Restaurant to the direct front. This restaurant, although not part of the hotel... More

My spouse and I visited l'Estrella together with our 9 month old son, after having it recommended. Th main reason for our choice was the location and price. We chose a ground floor room with our own terrace, allowing us to park the baby stroller directly outside our terrace door, and sit at the table there instead of inside our... More

This is a nice family run hotel set on the roadside across from the beach at Agay. The hotel is in back of a restaurant far enough from the road to receive no car noise. Rooms are nice, basic; staff is wonderful, and breakfast was as good as it gets. Parking is in the open areas next to the hotel,... More
