We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Wandering around the courtyard, chapel, olive grove etc was wonderful. Kids loved the pool and the wifi. It was lovely being able to collect eggs from the henhouse and pick whatever vegetables etc we wanted from the garden. The staff were friendly and the evening dinners were delicious. You have to... Very peaceful old olive oil farm. Fantastic enthusiastic hosts who were keen to show us their farm, olive oil, and helped us pick their fresh vegetables from their vegetable garden and eggs from the hen coop for our cooking. Dinner as cooked by the host was mostly nice but expensive.

Not an auspicious start since we weren't on the Anna's list of guests, but that was quickly overcome and we ended up in a slightly bigger property than we had booked. Rooms were clean, but basic, and comfortable. Wifi was on, but erratic for the first two days, then I couldn't get connected at all. Cooking was limited to two... More

The Villa Zottopera is really a great place to stay! A beautiful main house and buildings around a courtyard, surrounded by a nice garden and the olive trees that make up for the famous olive oil. I was staying here in may 2013, in Casa dei Tutu, consisting of a kitchen, bedroom, and a living room, giving access to garden... More

Finally! I have been requesting Tripadvisor add this Villa for over a year. I happened to check back today and voila! Needless to say, this review is long overdue. We stayed at Zottopera for 3 nights in May 2011. Most of our experiences and photos of the Villa can be viewed on our travelpod blog, but tripadvisor will not allow... More

we've been with a group at this lovely farm. It has main building if 18th century surrounded by outbuildings. There is a chapel and pool and olive trees garden. The pride of this villa - precious olive oil made of centuries-old olive grove.

Very pretty estate. You stay in converted outbuildings around the old house and parking is just outside the gate. We stayed in massa vito which is well furnished if a little dark (what you would expect from what is basically a barn!). If we were to be a little picky the bed was very hard even by Sicilian standards and... More
